Fitz is a top 5 WR all time. #2 in catches & yards. #6 in TD’s.

Among TEs, Witten is also second in catches/yards and sixth in TDs.

What are the chances?

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Saquon looks more like Giants Saquon. Don't think he's the same guy as last year. He looks hesitant and indecisive. If Tank looks good with this offensive line in limited snaps, it leaves me thinking Barkley has underperformed regardless of OL. I think that's too easy of a cop out for him. A superstar just gets it done, regardless. He looks timid and unaggressive this year. He can be a lot better.

Absolutely he can be better, hes not seeing things well, not that theres much to see but hes trying to hit a home run every carry. Last year he average 2.4 yards before contact, this year 1.3, against the Cowboys -1 👀 thats not lack of vision, or hesitation or losing a step thats just really bad blocking and hes never been a guy with the wiggle to make dudes miss, hes a stick his foot in the ground explode through the hold. Cant stick your foot in the ground if youre hit in the backfield every game

Tank has been better with the backfield contact as hes a little more slippery.

I didn't know that Fitz only had 9/17 years of 1k yds. He's got longevity but does he really have the stats for the hall? Only 4 years where he led the league in some statistic (receptions 2005, 12TDs 2008, 13TDs 2009, 107 receptions 2016)

Fitzgerald is 2nd all-time in both receptions and receiving yards. He's a lock.

Was he ever the best WR in the NFL at any given time? I might say no, but he spent his entire 17-year career with one team which seems to also get counted in a player's favor when these discussions take place. He was top 5 in receptions 6 times and top 5 in yards 4 times. Only a 1st team All-Pro once, but 11 selections to the Pro Bowl.

He'll likely get voted in first ballot.

Think there are so many factors here and it's not that Saquon lost it. I can buy that. But can buy that he's just not playing well right now. Just not in a groove and it's challenging. Also, saw something online. Not sure if anyone shared this here yet.

Barkley is occasionally signaling whether its a run or a pass. On run plays, he generally takes a look at the D when they break the huddle then keeps his gaze forward. On passing plays, you see him looking around a lot more to see where he might be needed to help w/ some blocking. Need to fix that signal If true.

Sure does seem like teams know what we are doing pre- snap.

How about a tinted shield??

Havent noticed that tell but I had heard a couple weeks ago that barkley had a tell.

If so need to fix it immediately, maybe get him a dark visor and tell him to keep his head still, or just start moving his head around pre snap every play.

Curious im going to have to watch for that next game, unless its already been corrected

I think we need to see more Tank and I know that is a really difficult decision to make but I do. Saquon doesn’t look quite the same and with the OL right now I think we just need something… Tank just seems to take what’s there and run with a bit more aggression and power. Saquon is absolutely the better RB overall but right now he’s just not there.

I was strictly going by single season. I'll update my post since there's confusion

While Witten had a great HOF worthy career I don't think he gets in on first ballot, should he? The bias fan in me says yes, the fact is if Antonio Gates didn't get in on the first ballot how does Witten? I don't think he had enough AP seasons, and he also never won a SB.

Sucks but thats just the way it is, one of my favorite Cowboys of all time, dude came to work and produced, only missed one game in his career...that's an insane stat. That one game came against PHI in 2003 and it was because he had a broken jaw from the game the week before.

So I don’t want to go through all the posts. Who were the reporters who got into today during Vic’s press conference?

McMullen and Ruben Frank

Rivers has the passing stats but I don't believe he has anything in playoffs

Brees has the passing stats and a ring

Witten shouldn't. He should go into the hall of really good

Only 3 WR’s in NFL history have more than 9 seasons of 1,000 or more yards

Hall of fame and not hall of very good 🤷‍♂️

If I was picking a dinner table to sit at for fun and good conversation that tandem would not be on my list.

Was looking up penalties this year by team as it seems like the entire league is committing more.

Was surprised that Denver leads the NFL in penalties yet have the best record in the AFC.

I forget the podcast was listening too but a large portion of Denver’s comes from defensive penalties like PI and defensive holding.

Five out of our remain six opponents have bottom half of the league defenses.

Seven our of first 11 opponents were in the upper half of the league.

So you’re saying 4th all time in NFL history of 1,000 yard seasons is just "very good”?

No

As things currently stand, I view this as the Eagles being just the opponent to give those bad defenses a "get right game" rather than the other way around.

And I implore the Eagles to prove me wrong on Friday.

I could see it going either way sadly

Id counter that Dallas statistically had bottom Defense and we saw how that worked out...

but their D is much improved since the trade D line.

The remaining teams Ds arent getting much better at this point.

Bears and Bills Defenses have been decimated by injuries.

Hopefully eagles can avoid that fate going into post season.

This 5 man front thing is overblown, when the reporter asked Landon, so they were running 5 man front the whole game and you scored 21 points against it first half then why would you have to adjust???

You can see Landons brain sprockets spinning as he realizes what he just said didnt make any sense

The problem wasnt the 5 man front, they scored 21 points against that front the problems came in the 2nd half adjustments the cowboys made, whatever they were that patullo and Siri as usual didnt adjust to.

Eagles O has been bad all year at halftime adjustments.

The penalties and turnovers only compounded the issues
