I'd rather host the Lions than the Packers at the Linc.

But that doesn't matter unless we win tomorrow.

It's because stadium cost is astronomical and having a roof opens it up to so many more events. Football stadiums are only football stadiums 8-11 times in a calendar year. The other 350 plus days they are concert venues, traveling shows, etc.

Here's what chat GPT gave me. I think it's only about 63 yards long and seems a tad crooked on the far side of the field ..... only one goal post, so that makes FGs either very hard or very easy -- but here you go.

Does the outcome of this game really matter today? Pack or Lions? We hold the tiebreaker on both.

I don’t think it matters actually

Send Kelee Ringo to the probowl!

Looking at a list of talent and not really seeing for sure pro-bowl locks besides Quinyon is sad.

The lack of goal posts is a nice home field advantage. No more losing to last second field goals 💪

I’d say Cooper DeJean is recognized as one of the top nickel, if not the top, CBs in a league

Pretty ridiculous when you think about it

Parsons just swam through two dudes like they were water.

Hope everyone has a better Thanksgiving than me. Family dog dying is never easy but it's especially never easy when it's near the holidays

I'm so sorry to hear that. 😞 That happened to us at Thanksgiving 2019, our dog got aggressive cancer, had to put her down 2 days before Thanksgiving.

I don't really agree that the weather has anything to do with our SB runs. We had to play in it too.

In a dome we would have spanked the Rams again, IMO.

The team that is used to playing in the conditions generally fairs better than the team that does everything in ideal conditions. If the Eagles build a dome, would they practice inside all the time or would they practice in the elements still? How many teams that play in a dome still practice outside regularly?

Yes, the Eagles had to play in the same conditions, but since they practice in the elements constantly, and play in the elements routinely, they are better prepared to compensate than the team that's dealing with it only on some game days.

A team like the Lions, that plays in a dome, and matches up against dome teams regularly, only has to worry about sub-optimum conditions a handful of times a year. They play AT Chicago and AT Green Bay every year, but they could play them early in the year and get great conditions. So, not even every time they play those two road games are impacted by the elements. They play 8 or 9 home games a year. They play 8 or 9 road games. And a selection of those road games are played indoors as well. The Vikings, every year, is indoors. Then of the NFC opponents they face, they will get 2 games against another division on the road. In the East, if Dallas hosts them, that's a dome. In the South, Atlanta and New Orleans are indoors, and the weather in Tampa is nearly perfect nearly all the time. In the West, Arizona and LA are domes. So, roughly half the teams they would face outside the division on the road would also be in domes, or fair weather games. Meaning, they might play only as many as 3 games in poor weather. This year, the only 'weather' games they are going to have was two weeks ago in Philly and the last week of the year at Chicago. They played on the road at GB week 1, perfect weather. Baltimore week 3, perfect weather. KC and Cincinnati on the road, perfect weather for both. At Washington the week before they came to Philly, the temp was 65 degrees with 7mph wind. Not exactly tough conditions. But then in the playoffs... if they have to go on the road, how much harder would it be for them to adapt to the weather versus a team like the Eagles that have slowly acclimated to the conditions as the weather has changed? I would be curious what the records of road dome teams are outdoors versus road outdoor teams in domes.

Mentioned this yesday. They have no starting LBs. Forward screens and slants.

My buddy coached Sewell in high school.

I'd say Mann has been one of our most consistant players this season. Not sure about pro bowl but he's certainly been good.

Tbh the packers defense has been good outside of the Dallas game. I view it as the Packers are more built to win a defensive slugfest, in the cold and ugly game. Don’t think the lions are built that way. They’re built to be playing at home in a playoff game where the elements favor them.

War of attrition.

I think we want the Lions to find a way to win. They are more banged up. And now Amon-Ra, too.

Also, I think our D would prefer the less mobile QB, given the choice between playing GB and Detroit in the playoffs.

Yea but do they pick a NCB for a probowl? I thought it was just CB’s in general which hurts him.

I’m sorry to hear that. I had to put my dog down due to his lung cancer coming back last year just before the eagles season started. Still not over it. Sending you guys love and prayers.

It's about the right foot and the catch moment.

Crazy catch. I thought for sure that was incomplete.

That sucks. Condolences to you and the family.

I don’t see Smith unless he’s an alternate.

JSN, Nacua, Pickens, St Brown, Jefferson are all above him.

London, McMillan and Egbuka have better stats.

DBs need to try to carry players out of bounds with the "new" rule... but they never seem to try that option.

My day will go so much better if KC wins especially in a blow out -)
