No way I’d have gone for 2 there. The models are a guide, not a decision making tool.

Debating the 2 point conversion attempt on the first TD versus the second is sort of irrelevant. You are going to need that 2 pointer at some point either way and if you can't get it, it doesn't matter. Meanwhile, going for it and getting on the first try means that you can win if you want to in regulation if you do it twice.

This offense has been horrible for most of the year. I really didn’t expect them to be good today either, but what the defense gave up against the run today was a total embarrassment. And it wasn’t because they were tired or whatever… they flat out sucked today from the time they took the field.

This team couldn't beat Washington State right now.

They should fire patullo. However, I think there’s a fundamentally bigger problem with this offense, and it goes to Nick Sirianni and Jalen. You could say it’s one or the other or it’s both. But last year they were blessed to have a prolific run game and OL that covered up a lot of the dysfunction in the passing attack. Their passing game hasn’t really been right since before the collapse of 2023. They’ve been wildly inconsistent week to week an frankly under utilized. As well as not maximizing the talent they have.

Do the analytics take into account that your defense has given up almost 300 yards rushing and you’re not going to get two more possessions?

That’s not a given. The way they have been playing, they could lose 2 out of 3..

Wow they could have only a half game lead on the division by next week.

I see 3 more losses minimum but somehow still sneak into the playoffs and get embarrassed again in the first round just like 2023
