The collapse has already started. The offense is a dead stick. Changing OCs won’t change that. They’ll fire Patullo in the offseason.

They’ll bring in a new OC who will have a comparable offense next year and at that point everyone will be ready for a QB change.

It's really the only possible way people will figure it out, because already moving Nick away from the offense, and then hiring a new OC, is the only way possible to show whether or not Hurts is related to the issue, because he's so healthy. The only other way is to bench your QB with a no trade clause and effectively dive on the sword you don't have to dive on.

Cracks were there last year too. Saquon completely carried the team for half the season till coop got healthy and the D turned into a historically good one. If they had lost to Jax I think another collapse was coming. That game could have gotten Siri fired alone.

Last year I liked watching the running game. The passing offense was awful, but the OL dominated and Barkley was extreme must see TV. This year, the commercials are more entertaining than when the Eagles offense has the ball. Cracks for sure but it wasn't all cracks. This offense is just one giant crack.

They need to fire Patullo and have Nick holding a blank clipboard. Get them both completely away from the offense in any capacity

Patullo being demoted can't come soon enough. It's still Nicks moldy playbook but anything will be better than him. And for all that is good & holy, get Tank the gosh darn ball!!!

Now that the D also collapsed it’s definitely 2023 redux. We’ll be lucky to still make the playoffs.

Obviously the players have culpability, but this just looks like a poorly coached team. We have all watched enough football to know what that looks like. We've seen it here plenty of times. They look unprepared every week, if not to start the game than coming out of halftime and not able to adjust. They look the same every week. They are mistake prone. Dropping balls, missing blocks, concentration issues, situational bad coaching decisions. We saw a well coached team on the other side tonight and the difference it makes.

And if I have to hear "Guys, Sirianni and Patullo have been around the block, they've coached in the league, they know offense!" from sycophants one more time. You can say that about every coach who's ever lived. Doesn't mean they know how to implement a gameplan or call a game or how to utilize their talent. They clearly cannot. We see it every week.

Lurie, wake up and do something.

The defense absolutely collapsed today.

They may have today, but in general this impending collapse has more to do with offense..

The sports shows will be brutal to watch tomorrow as an Eagles fan. I like watching GMFB and ESPN shows, but after today, ouch !

Nick will say "we’re close.” Nothing changes

He always does.

Nick newds

No thanks

We're 8-4 but I pray Lurie/Howie can see the collapse

Yup. If i'm lurie nick is getting pulled into my office tomorrow, getting a new a-hole reamed, and getting told he's firing patullo when he leaves the office and he can bench hurts for the LA game.

I think if Lurie said you could bench Hurts I'd be pretty bewildered. Mostly just because I think they love him to death and that's really part of the problem.

I dunno man, he looks slow to me too.

People say I’m nuts but I think both Saquon and AJj are noticeably slower/less explosive.

Hurts freezes some times for no reason.

Our offensive coordinator is horrendous.

Oline looks mid.

Defense looks tired.

Other than that things are going pretty well.

The holes aren't there either. He might look slow because he's looking for something that's not there. He gets a pass from me because the issue for him is likely more physical than anything else. The rest of the offense is just garbage.

Bears 69 plays

Eagles 34

Absolutely getting punked on both sides of the ball at home by another fraud of a team

Heads must roll

I’ll still stand by that this is basically the same offense as last year just without Saquon covering up the errors by rushing for 2k. The Minnesota game this year was basically the Cinci game last year for Hurts. Outside of that game last year and the Pittsburgh game, the passing game really wasn’t that great.

We’ll fire him and get someone competent this off-season again. Just like last time except these guys never learn.

Our offense looks like a high school team compared to Ben Johnson’s.

While I agree Tank should get touches...wtf happened to AJ Dillon!? Guy was straight power and than completely left.

They somehow kept the game pretty close....but the lack of containment on cutbacks was just death today. Reed was exposed as an average athlete and Brown was completely invisible when those runners were approaching the second level of the D. It is also never a good look when the RB is always falling forward on each run...the score should have been much worse...

Bears embarrassed us, tried telling you they're no pushover. Terrible just terrible

Caleb Williams said that the Eagles are a team you shouldn’t look down on… which means that we are looked down on.

Yeah without all the 3 and outs the D is less tired.

Honestly, where did this 'Dynasty or Bust' mentality even come from? I feel like it's from seeing the best defense most Eagles fans have ever seen last year, but I'm kind of curious why no one expected repeat in 2018, but basically everyone expects it now.

Because we all knew 2017 was lightning in a bottle. No team wins a super bowl the way we won that super bowl, backup QB, backup LT, a bunch of guys on IR. It was not sustainable and very obvious a repeat was a long shot. That team wasn't even in the same universe as this team talent wise

It's expected now because this defense has been otherworldly up until this week (Cracks showed last week) and the offense is full of stars at the skill positions.

It's alright Nick and them have been staying up all week figuring things out

I figure they’ll really shoot for Frank Reich in the offseason. That’s a hire Nick would love. Howie and Lurie would love it. It’s a PR win.

I know I’m in all out pile on Hurts mode, but good OC candidates may not want to come to a team with huge expectations, a declining OL, and a limited QB that prevents you from opening the playbook. They may have trouble getting a good candidate.

But guys!!!

The offense is efficient and can pass when they want to! That's the only reason why Hurts was averaging under 200 yards passing!!!

The defense was so good and the run game carried the offense so we rarely played down by more than one score. As a result, the team was not put into situations of needing to pass to win. Now we have to pass to win and you see what happens.

Barkley a shell of his 2024 self. As is the entire o-line. Hurts has been brutal at times. KP is lost. Sirianni is a clown that is "fun” only when winning. He can’t handle a team facing adversity.

The defense didn't collapse. The defense is on the field ALL THE TIME. They kept the Eagles in this game.
