The other important point is that BDN made was that he will allow him to get away from the emotions of the game.1 simple move -- don't run the same play from the same formation on every 1st down so that you face 2nd and eight on most downs, thus leading the league in both predictability and three and outs. This would change the offense's efficiency.

December 2Dec 2 And also, Jalen Hurts' lack of comfort with running certain passing schemes has no bearing on why the Eagles run game is so simplistic. The Bears utilized motion and misdirection all game in the run. Why can't we do that?

Which makes sense given that Reed is beat up and Sydney isn't assignment sound. The DL typically does a good enough job without the safety help, but the Bears OL is very solid and a short week seems to be a real problem for our guys (specifically Carter). Obviously, getting washed out and poor tackling wasn't part of the plan - but if the D gave up more points three quarters through via big pass plays would've that been much better.JD played 60% of the snaps and was OK. Sometimes I wish Vic used a deeper rotation to spare the starting DTs but then I get a dose of Byron Young - big drop off.

And Baun, Coop and Q with reduced snaps. Barkley, Brown and Hurts with reduced snaps as well. Vets get some rest and get to reset and recharge. People forget they have had 2 long runs in 2 of last 3 years. Just need to win division ASAP though, in which they screwed that endeavor up by losing to an inferior Bears team. They made their road much harder with that loss. They only have a fighting chance if they are healthy and not worn out. Believe it or not, playing the long game with Hurts and not getting him beat up like Embiid did every year, limping into the playoffs could be genius. He knows how to win in the Playoffs and I want him spry to run then, when it matters. I do believe that he is your best guy to pull it off this year. Still....
December 2Dec 2 Hate how there is nothing but terrible Eagles podcasts. Wish the BGN one cpuld be allowed to comeback.

December 2Dec 2 Honestly, on a vet minimum deal, bring Slay home. Not like we have a ton of great CB2 options. He's most likely washed, but if it costs nothing, do it.

He was like 90% signing bonus.Arnold ended up on IR. I could see Lions bringing him back.

December 2Dec 2 Is this the week we unleash Jakorian Bennett? Still no real verdict on him and I do think Fangio wants to know what he has here. He knows the Chargers pretty well from being on the Raiders. This is a good week for him to see snaps and integrate. More Michael Carter as well. NO SYDNEY BROWN. Didn't look great Vs Bears but anything is better. Even Michael Carter.

And yeah, with a $1.255 million base, he costs the team claiming him only about 370k in cap space. Would be shocked if he isn't claimed ahead of us.

He was still very good in man, but had a rough year when playing zone the year before. Im not totally convinced he is washed yet. Might look better back in Fangio's D. The bad news, and the good news is, its not gonna hurt to try because CB2 is already such a mess here.
