December 3Dec 3 I got to agree with Jalen, hitting receivers in stride would be an unusual development.

Can’t cover 1-on-1 and can’t tackle. His only saving grace is his bottom level play is not a chicken with his head cut off like Brown, and hopefully takes better angles than Blankenship.
December 3Dec 3 When people say "I don't want Slay back, he's washed," I seriously have to question if they have watched any Eagles games this season.

December 3Dec 3 I think Slay in this system is an upgrade over Adoree but probably not a huge one. At his normal level Epps is better than Brown. Not sure where Epps is tho. Brown is just really bad at there
December 3Dec 3 Peak Epps was a fairly reasonable forgettable set and forget starter that wouldn’t get you killed and wouldn’t make plays. Could do better, could do worse. Rookie Mukuba was more getting you killed and more making plays, but I’d argue actually netted out as less than that. Brown has more explosive athleticism than either one of them but just has no feel whatsoever for the game. If Epps is healthy and can move, I have to imagine he’d be a better option than Brown. But Epps was marginal to begin with, so he figures to be really limited at this point.
December 3Dec 3 Not sure why you wouldn't bring Slay back. At worst, he's better than Ringo and he's at least as good as Jackson. Seems like a pretty simple shot in the arm to try and at little cost.
December 3Dec 3 Brown is all gas no brakes which I respect to a certain degree except when you take out a fellow player. I swear he came in like a heat seeking missile and collided with Mukuba on the play where Mukuba fractured his ankle but I can't find the play.It was like the play where he trucked the gunner badly but then let up and the gunner end up causing a fumble. I appreciate the physicality but the result just isn't there.

December 3Dec 3 Marcus Epps has Andrew Sendejo live fire disease, but has starting experience across multiple teams. Brown is a just there. With Slay being released, I can see him being happy to be back and likely realising that this is it for his career now. So a few games in a team he clearly likes makes a ton of sense. If he's worse than Ringo and Jackson, then he gets released and everyone moves on
