Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

He’s a moron 100% of the time. Not just during his PC’s

It is very annoying. I give the players credit, I wouldn’t be able to buy in to all that coach speak. 😂

I'm not sure what it is since those "bad" QBs that are winning are either still getting paid crazy amounts or will when it's their contract time

You think if he pulled you over, you tell him about the time he lost you a fantasy championship game that he’d feel bad and not give you a ticket?

He would probably charge you with resisting arrest instead.

IMO, you can argue its the difference between the QB playing their part in an O ecosystem, without being the pinnacle of it; Turdy is decent in the Shanny O, but overall, you wouldn't call him a great QB and other QBs could have success doing the same thing in that system. Why? He can implement his role to a high percentage of accuracy and consistency, meaning the downsides to his game (noodle arm etc) are not really exposed that much.

Yea the devaluing will only happen (if it happens) once those contracts are due. But ideally teams would see what's happening and adjust accordingly, but they won't. They'll fold to mid QB demands and then once those QBs lose their supporting cast the teams will suck again

If I'm the Eagles, I sign the CB Ingram that Bills waived yesterday. Keep him for the Bills game for some intel, while keeping him away from Bills signing him to their practice squad, which is their hope to sneak him back on there. Been with Bills for 4 years. Solid on special teams and has filled in all CB positions for them. Played a lot of slot CB last year in dime packages when they had injuries and graded pretty well.

Quarterbacks that are winning are not "bad" Quarterbacks. It sometimes seems to not matter how much QB play has to do with the winning, just that they don't screw up too often or badly.

So a QB can go 1/20 1yds 5INTs but isn't bad if his team won because either the RB or defense scored

Not to that extent obviously but Trent Dilfer on the 2000 Ravens comes to mind.

You're the one that said as long as the team wins then the QB can't be bad 🤷‍♂️

I didn't say that. As long as the team is winning, the QB is not likely to be viewed as bad, more like overlooked. There's a difference.

Vindictive. I like that. Also makes some sense.

Call me crazy, but don't think you will see the truth of this offense til the playoffs. Hurts getting hurt and limping into the playoffs is not on the agenda. They are playing the long game here. I see him more as a running threat when the chips are on the line. Also, feel like the urgency level will be high with the whole offense and how it's called when you may be going home the following week. For sure, they have their issues, but when he runs, is when this team is at its optimum in the running game and in the passing game. No sense in running him into the ground now, if he is limping into the postseason. This guy is far from a Trent Dilfer and can win you games by himself if you allow him to do his thing. It's laughable to even compare them.

I think he gets more than that. Cee Dee is $34M per year and being he's a free agent, someone will overspend. And is only 24 years old. I don't assume he stays in Dallas at all.

They're playing possum! Even losing games. Playing 4-D chess.

Yes, you're crazy. P

So what changes do we actually expect - if any - to see Monday night?

Slay has made his move to try and force Buffalo's hand. I actually had this last night from a good source. Wanted to post it, but doubted people would believe me.

What I hope:

Less GC, More Latu

Less Saquon, More Tank

Less runs down the middle on 1st down, More short passing game

Less Adoree, More Jakorian

Less Snaps for Carter, More snaps for Ty Robinson

Less Snaps (than last week) for Dean, More for Campbell

And a foregone conclusion, No Snaps for Sydney Brown

EXACTLY WHAT I EXPECTED!!!

Now it's up to the Bills. He's not going to report there, he's going to retire if they don't release him. So now it comes down to if they don't care if they essentially just end his playing career now or allow him to play for a few more weeks where he wants to.

As stated yesterday. He will be an Eagle. Just give it some time. Now we know that the Eagles put in a claim, it should happen. Rosenhaus will do his thing here. Slay leaving Steelers was his angling to coming back here and actually play meaningful snaps. I don't think the Bills eff with Rosenhaus if Slay wants back here to start and actually play. And don't see Howie putting in a claim just to have him here as depth. They have to go thru the process now. Won't be too long.
