Likely that the tease does end soon, I don't know about tonight though. DET secondary is missing two starters (Arnold and Joseph), their O is missing TE1 and TE2 (LaPorta and Wright), as well as G Awosika. They are however a very talented football team, especially offensively. Will DAL hold them to under 30? I kind of doubt it. Will DET defense hold DAL to under 30? I doubt that also. I think we are in for a high scoring game tonight, I think its a 50/50 game with the edge to DET since they are the home team but I would not be surprised if DAL won.

As for Pickens, they really do not want to let him get away, he will wear the star next year and play under an extension, if not DAL will tag and trade him and get compensated nicely with draft capital. They spent a 3rd rd pick on him, they will get much more back and not have another 30m plus wr contract. Him playing so well this year has created a great return on investment either way.

I have no grand illusion of DAL making the playoff and making noise this year, I picked them at 7-10 to start the year. Three or four weeks ago I didn't think they would go 5 - 11 - 1. I am just happy they are showing signs of life and some of the younger players are contributing (DMo, Revel mainly). DAL still has many flaws but I think the future looks more promising than what I expected it would at the beginning of the year, that started with trading a very good player, but it absolutely was the right move, and I feel like they made a good HC hire (at least thus far), the players respond to him and he is getting their best effort. Whether or not their best effort is good enough and more importantly sustainable is the real question, they quit on MM last year imo.

When will Dak collapse and have a stinker of a game? When will the defense lay down again? When is the next big impact injury? No one knows, but DAL fans know its coming, at least those of us who aren't wearing blue glasses with a star on the lens.

I will again be forced to live vicariously through you folks during the post-season 😃, which is all good, there are worse fans out there than all you Dirty Birds 😂.

Oh, and if DAL wins tonight IT IS NOT because of the refs. We need to start an over/under prediction for penalty comments here during PHI/DAL games next year, that would be fun.

BTW officiating in general gets worse every year, those of us who got to experience this great game prior to 2000 - 2005'ish are the lucky ones imo.

Idk about that between Pickens getting automatic DPI calls and the way the eagles are playing their chances to win the east are still alive. Maybe the lions offer a better stress test to the defense than phi/kc did.

That sucked, but glad Campbell at least took the 3. He’s going to cost Detroit another important game with his risk taking. Just hope it’s not tonight.

Penee Sewell ain’t that guy this season, and that’s bad news for Goff and that offense.

Seeing as we lead our division, Buffalo currently doesn't. We don't have an offense but they don't have a defense. Our playoff road is theoretically easier, id give the edge to us. I don't think either team is going to make it mind you. Everyone thinks the Bills are three best team in the league or something. Outside of Allen they pretty much suck.
