Watching the game was like going to the dentist and getting four root canals. Yet again lots of blame to go around and while Hurts was terrible he did put two balls right in AJ's hands in the 4th quarter to win the game and AJ dropped both of them. That doesn't excuse Hurts in the least but he's not the only issue.

Hurts was awful.

Brown was awful.

For the most part, the OL was pretty awful at run blocking.

Barkley was good and not good.

Elliott was bad when we desperately needed him to be perfect.

Covey was, frankly, lucky.

Honestly, Goedert and Smith were really good on offense. They alone stand apart as the good on the offense. The defense was actually quite outstanding... all things considered.

Meanwhile the offense has failed to score 22 or more points for the 9th time this season... and for the 5th consecutive game.

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

As bad as Hurts played, they win the game fairly easily if Brown would just catch the damn ball. How deflated would the Chargers have been if the first play of the game is a TD, I don't understand how a guy who claims he is the best WR in the league can half ass long passes right into his arms. Can't imagine Chase et al doing that.

Lol. Blame everyone except the sheet bag qb

Hurts is a bad passer. Always has been. They have just usually found a way to smoke, mirrors, tush push, and historic run game their way around that fact.

And this year every single one of those compensation mechanisms faltered at the same time.

But the reality is that the starting qb is a bad passer. Are we going to hold on to the hope that they re construct an offense so asymmetrically dominant that they don’t need the qb to be a good passer?

Nothing is going to happen in the offseason except patullo and possibly moving AJ Brown, at the end of the day all jokes aside we will win the division and have 10-11 wins. That won’t warrant a crazy change of any kind.

Doubt AJ is moved. 42 or 43 mil dead cap hit. AJ isn't even the problem. Everything he's been saying all season has showed up the last few games

He's regressed big time. He throws a nice deep ball but there's been quite a few times he's under thrown the receiver and they've made a great catch to bail him out

This is what you call scheming a WR open, and instead Jalen throws to AJ with 3 defenders around him. How do you not see the DT right in front of you? Dotson breaks the CB down and is open immediately, but Hurts had decided pre snap where he was going.

Complete ass

In any case they need to demote Patullo to show they are doing something. Obviously Hurts is a big part of problem (at least since bye) but you're not really worried that if you get rid of Patullo that you let a good one go. He stinks on his own

They can bench Hurts for a game. It's not impossible

Yep. Nick has wasted two years of elite talent

If Dallas wins out, the Eagles are going to miss the playoffs. With the way they’re playing, I think the Eagles will lose one game to Washington and the bills game. At a minimum.

Ideal scenario at this point. The draft pick out of playoffs will obviously be better than the draft pick as a 1 and done team.

Ya I agree and I’m not really saying he is a problem more of like a mutual thing

I just don’t see big change coming just a real OC

Lurie won't say anything close to it but I'm sure he's pissed. He finally has the WRs for the passing game he's always wanted and we get this slop

This just isn't true. It's just not. They could sit the QB if the FO weren't such cowards. This is the modern day where they're giving too much resource investment and leverage to QBs. If you can sit McNabb, you should be able to sit Hurts.

They probably still worry about what happened with Carson Wentz.

Obviously, but he still has to make that catch. That’s what the money is for.

Well gentlemen we spent our whole lives wishing for a Superbowl and we were fortunate to see 2. In a season where this team could easily add a 3rd, they are so frustrating to watch from the play design to play calling to execution to mental focus. None of it is there.

Clearly, Sirianni thinks if they just keep pounding away at the same thing that they will eventually get better. But, I'm not going to lose any sleep over a team that isnt willing to change. Either they get it together or they don't.

Last 3 games A.J. has got over 100 yards. Last 3 games are losses. Eagles don't need to make sure he gets his touches, they need to make sure we win.

Imo they aren’t losing cause of aj brown getting the ball. The offense all year has been super inconsistent and they won games in ways that weren’t actually sustainable. At some point the offense scoring 21 or less in 8 of 9 games was going to eventually be an issue. add on when you have 9 turnovers in 3 games (could’ve easily been 11 if not for overturning a horrible hurts throw and covey recovering his own fumble on a punt), routinely having bad penalties and mistakes on offense is a massive issue.

Dont get me wrong, Aj is to blame for not making catches he should make and having dumb penalties but we are losing cause Aj is getting his is an easy cop out when the signs this offense in general has been a massive issue outside of a giants game in week 8 and a half here or there. the eagles were winning ugly as heck with an offense that success rate and EPA is comparable to some of the worst teams in the nfl.

That was never going to be sustainable. It is like 2023 except offense is the bigger issue than that year it was the defense. Weren’t going to keep winning games in fashion they were. Like being down 26-7 to the rams, going 3 and out a record rate or scoring 26 points in 2 games.

Did you watch the video?

It does not take much effort to find this stuff. People just want to put their heads in the sand and point at the coaching staff. Watching other games, not many teams are running that complicated of an offense, the QB just executes, and understands what "open" means in the NFL.

If they miraculously fired KP, what would the expectation be for the offense? I don't see anything changing with whoever is calling plays. This is Siris offense and it sucks.

In the end of the day, both Sirianni and Hurts were/are great when they had/have the top OL in the league and below average without it. That isn't going to change so either the organization uses the significant majority of its offseason capital on the OL or there has to be a change to the Sirianni/Hurts regime if the team is to return to the top.

I haven’t. If we’re not talking about the pass to AJ over the middle then I apologize. If we are talking about that drop, yeah, he has to make that catch.

In a wide open year an average offense wins another SB.

Vic had flaws given to him and he coached around them.

Nick picked his buddy vs looking around. We knew before KM left it would be KP. He was given vast amounts of talent and can't coach them. They both need to be fired.

Against the raiders though would create all kinds of cans of worms
