Obviously, but he still has to make that catch. That’s what the money is for.

Both are true.

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Lol. Blame everyone except the sheet bag qb

Two things can be true. Hurts stunk. Eagles win the game if their so called superstar WR makes some catches on perfectly thrown deep balls.

They are going to be 1 and done in playoffs. Like 2023, we know that’s coming. Petullo is 100% getting fired in the offseason. It’s done. You may not get a new play caller this year, but the season is already over.

So with that thought process, Petullo is already irrelevant. I’m done complaining about him because he’s already gone.

Hurts and Siri, on the other hand, we are stuck with for at least 2026. So discuss them. Petullo is already history.

Anyone who excuses AJ for dropping a ball that hit him right in the hands as he does his little Todd Pinkston thing has absolutely no credibility.

That was a huge momentum swing and he's paid to catch the f'ing ball.

You think Herbert is worried about his "ACL, his PCL, his LCL...". Acho needs to shut the hell up.

AJ dropped two touchdowns and another one led to a game-changing pick.

Here we go

Last 3 games A.J. has got over 100 yards. Last 3 games are losses. Eagles don't need to make sure he gets his touches, they need to make sure we win.

4-0 when he went on his first pouty social media post. The team has tried to placate him and are 4-5 since then. Congrats AJ, we've become a form of the Dallas Cowboys, where personal accolades and stats are more important than team success. We're using the wrong metric. If he can't get on board with team success means personal success... then he can...

The reality of the Eagles right now:

Sirianni doesn't know how to fix Jalen Hurts. If he's capable of being fixed. The solution last season to "fix" him was to hide him and start pounding the ball. So going forward, if your solution to the head coach being unable to fix the QB is hiring a new OC... who will be gone in a year if he's successful in doing so.... then that's just a window dressing move. One of Hurts or Sirianni need to be removed from the equation this offseason. It's really that simple. It may not happen, but it needs to. And the QB may be beyond fixing, but not sure he's going anywhere next season with that contract.

Last night's game was a tale of two QBs.

Herbert was playing with a broken hand, getting pounded on out there, sacked 7 times while escaping 3-4 more, his elbow was bloodied, he was simply getting beat up. He didn't play great -- he couldn't complete passes in the intermediate or deep zones of the field at all. What he did do was make the plays when he needed to, often times all by himself. He limited his mistakes. Although not pretty, his play and effort were inspiring to his team and coach.

Hurts was agonizingly bad for most of the game. The interceptions were ALL his fault to some degree; if the WR has to leave his feet for a throw in the middle of the field, it's not a good throw. Hurts was consistently very late delivering the passes or didn't see the easy throws at all. All of the interceptions (with the exception of the ball through Brown's hands) demonstrated Hurts' limitations as a passer. No excuse for the first one, and even dumber was fumbling the ball away when he was lucky enough to have a teammate force a fumble that bounced right to him. Did he not know it became first down if he just falls down? The second INT for Smith the CB simply ate his lunch money. The last INT the ball was thrown late -- so, so late. Dotson was WIDE open if the ball is delivered 1 - 1.5 seconds sooner.

The ridiculous throw-away at the end of the first half was maddening as well. The game clock got reset to 10 seconds and I'm convinced Hurts had no idea. He played that like there was only 7 seconds left and abandoned the play when his first read was covered. These kinds of instances with zero situational awareness cannot happen to your starting QB.

I thank Hurts for the big-time playoff performances last season, but he's just not a good enough QB to be really good every year. He's going to have inconsistency even at this point in his career. At this point I'm REALLY hoping they don't give him another contract extension.

He doesn't have the dynamic speed to run anymore.

He's never been that fast. He's not running because he wants make plays as a passer and he wants to avoid injury. He's not making plays as a passer when he scrambles. He also scrambles into situations where he has no real opportunity to run.

I haven’t. If we’re not talking about the pass to AJ over the middle then I apologize. If we are talking about that drop, yeah, he has to make that catch.

It was a hospital ball. Hurts has to throw it lower

Go find me any evidence at all that Sirianni and/or Patullo can design an effective passing offense.

I can't remember a single instance last night where a receiver was schemed open. Maybe their little Goedert RPO which is a Hurts thing and not a Sirianni thing.

Even on the game ending interception they called a pass play to the short side of the field with two receivers in virtually the same spot. I guess Hurts is just supposed to throw it out of bounds ever other play, which I'm sure you'd all love.

I've been saying this for years. I don't ever see receivers schemed open for easy looks. The offense is so basic.

In a wide open year an average offense wins another SB

Simply removing KP isn't going to all of a sudden mean the O becomes average. The problems run much deeper than just KP.

They can bench Hurts for a game. It's not impossible

They aren't going to bench him. Even if they decided they were moving on then they wouldn't lower his value by benching him.

My hope is that if the Eagles offense succeeds in 2026 that we just make whoever the OC is the HC. It’s clear as day now that Sirianni is not a good playcaller/offensive coach. He also is not good at putting the right coaches in place.

But no, that OC will end up leaving for a HC role and Siri will promote one of his guys that isn’t ready.

Absolutely not. What a joke this has become. Yes our WR who is paid millions cant raise his arms for a catch now, boo hoo.

Guy wants to sulk an cry on social media, now he's got the attention and dogs it and plays scared

He's clearly an entire step slower in getting going and it definitely affects his ability to run/escape.

It does not take much effort to find this stuff. People just want to put their heads in the sand and point at the coaching staff. Watching other games, not many teams are running that complicated of an offense, the QB just executes, and understands what "open" means in the NFL.

Right, but Hurts has done it before. Does everyone forget they have made it to 2 Super Bowls with Jalen Hurts as the starting QB? What impact does Hurts have on the run game and its overall decline? I'm not absolving Hurts from criticism, as he certainly deserves it after the performance yesterday. This is generally the same exact offense, player wise, since 2022. What has changed with the offense in 2025 that wasn't there in 2022 or 2024? Herbert missed several open receivers and underthrew deep balls that Troy pointed out multiple times on the broadcast. If it was as easy as just running a simple offense and understanding what open means, why isn't everyone doing that? If they brought in a top OC, could they make it back to the Super Bowl?

Nope. That's entirely on AJ.

Hurts doesn't want to be under center

They don't want to play Tank

KP is still the OC

Three stupid people cost them a golden opportunity to win another SB

He was fast enough to beat the defense to the edge. He isn't anymore. Like ever.

Remember those runs when he got like 20 plus yards. Now he can barely get 2

Nope. Both were to blame. Lousy throw into the middle of the field that forced the WR to leave his feet. Brown saw the LB closing on him where Hurts did not. The ball has to be lower.

Maybe a new OC puts him under center more

Maybe they play Tank more

Those two moves drastically improves the O

It's very possible Nick is still here too since he just got a new contract this year. I doubt Lurie wants to pay a coach that's not on the team

He had some yesterday but then Dickerson decided he wanted to play again and our coaches are a bunch of fanboys
