I'm just hoping Hannity's white washing works here and it gets her through the primary. She's pretty damn beatable, even in SC.

With Trump's approvals in the toilet and Dems hammering Republicans with their pathetic sucking up to him while the country falls apart, are they really still gonna go ahead with that Midterm Convention stupidity? Seems like such a suicidal move to broadcast your adoration for a guy that's as popular as genital warts.

The only thing that makes sense is that they are relying on a rabid base plus the shaky and downright illegal measures carrying them. Their backstop will be to declare a national emergency claiming foreign involvement and attempting to nullify the results. I think the large majority of the top people in MAGA know they can’t actually win a fair election and they don’t plan to.

I mean, unless the plan is for Trump to get on the convention stage and explicitly tell his rabid followers to disrupt voting, call in bomb threats, etc, I don't see the advantage of tying them all directly to the guy that everyone in the country hates. I'm sure Trump will love it because they'll kiss his ass, but I'm curious if any of the candidates, especially in tight races or in purple states, decline the invite.

If there's any single person, outside of Trump, his inner circle and Bibi, that deserves blame for the War with Iran it's Cotton, who authored that treasonous letter to Iran in the wake of Obama's deal, setting the stage for the right wing to paint themselves into a corner and oppose the deal at all costs.
