One addiction that I am in the process of getting rid of is diet sodas. I have 1/2 to 1 a day now with supper. If I'm still thirsty I drink water (I also drink water during the day)

Just got back from my mother's oncologist. They're really happy with the results of her latest CT Scan. All of the cancer has reduced a little. So a really good report.

  • Proud of this girl.  Eleventy billion push ups, sit ups, squats, mountain climbers, jumping jacks, planks, combinations, self defenses and weapon katas later in the cold and wind she earned her black

  • I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer in November. They removed my thyroid gland right before Thanksgiving. Post surgical blood test showed a thyroid globulin number of a 6, which is above the threshold

My day is coffee in the morning, water all day and beer when I finally sit down in the evening around 8-9pm.  I probably drink at least a half to almost a full gallon of water everyday.

just finished this book that my dentist turned me on to. it’s a pretty good read. i’m currently doing some of the deep breathing routines but i think i’ll pass on some of the more intense practices.

Do you know which one?

That's a good question.  Wouldn't want to bring the wrong wife.

Honestly, no. My daughter the nurse texted me and said I should call my doctor and ask them to put me and my wife on the vaccine list, so I did and like less then a hour later my wife got the call. I'm just happy not to have to wait 2-3 more months.

That's excellent though.  Let us know how it goes.

Because of our jobs we both got ours last Friday.  We each got different levels of sore arms for our first dose.  Mine started first and it was mostly mild.  Schmoopies hit several hours later and she couldn't lift her arm.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm glad you were able to get them. My daughter has had both of hers. She got a little sicker with the second one.

My SiL works at a cancer center and she was down for a day after her second one.  Not sure which vaccine she got.  They recommend taking a day after the second one.

Right before I got jabbed in the arm the doctor said.

"For your second dose you'll probably feel a lot worse than the first dose.  You may want to cancel your plans the next day.  And AWWAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY WE GO!" *jab*

random thought while scrolling twitter. I see POC used alll the time on social media now. Like that's the preferred term (for those like  , "people of color").

Last I knew, referring to others as "colored people" was bad, but switching the words around and adding an of between them is good? Someone help me better understand woke-ness. kthxluvubai

Why did it take you two years to post?

Any computer gurus know what this is? Opened up laptop for first timer in a while, and noticed these "watermarks” for lack of a better description in both top corners as well along the top edge.
