April 30, 20205 yr Really windy here. It's not too often we get high gusts that make the windows whistle. Wow Flooding rains on the way. At least the weekend looks half decent.
April 30, 20205 yr Not even 10 minutes into cooking dinner BAM power went out. I just breaded and started frying some chicken strips to have with spaghetti and some garlic bread to use up 2 rolls before they start molding. Ugh!!!
April 30, 20205 yr Raining too hard and no where to light some coals. Front porch too wet, would be nothing but smoke. The veranda outback looks more like a garage, no room to move the grill down there - plus I’m on my 3rd glass and I’d probably burn the place down. We won’t starve but it will piss me off to throw food away!!!!!! Maybe the tripod with a propane tank? Hmm

Also had a tree fall in the road on the way out of our neighborhood.
May 1, 20205 yr Truck blew off the road during my commute home from work. Luckily other side of the interstate. Big traffic jam over there.

We have power back pretty quickly and got dinner done. Small miracles!

We went out around 12-1pm. And it was down until about 7. I never got to say goodbye to the old board

Of course the power went back on 2 hours later. We were fortunate, no damage. My next door neighbor's house got jacked though:
May 1, 20205 yr that blows. get it? wind damage...blows. mother nature can be a mf'er...last thing anyone needs to worry about during all this covid-19 sheet is storm damage. 👎
