Camo lol When I was working in Marin Country, twice a year a heard of turkeys would make their way through the clients campus. For about a week the parking lot would be full of them and would barely move out of the way of cars.

This is what a limewash looks like Don’t do it agent. This is a literal "after shot” of what happened to Bobeph’s red brick fireplace when he let the clown out of the basement after 10 years.

Down south you can get huge homes for reasonable prices. We purchased ours for a few reasons. First, its on the best lot compared to the rest of the homes. By far the best views and the most private. Also, while it was big and had a great layout, it had a lot of room for improvement. When we first moved in, we put in Brazillian Pecan hardwood, completly remodeled the kitchen, etc. The first floor was completly redone. Now I'm doing the basement (adding a fireplace, bathroom, new flooring, adding a wet bar, recessed lighting, etc). After that, new treads and risers for the basement steps. Then i'll probably rip up the linoleum in the laundroom, put down tile, add cabnets, maybe do risers for the washer\dryer. If we stop there, we probably increased the value close to six figures between what we did along with the overall market in our neighborhood. (We may still update the two bahtrooms upstairs) This home was to get us back east and do a bit of a fixer upper with the end goal to upgrade to a single family home with the "profit". Before and after, if you care: Spoiler Before: After:
May 3, 20205 yr I have no desire to move south. We are centrally located to NYC, Philadelphia and DC. We are in a rural area, but in a town that is walkable to breweries and some of the top restaurants in the area - one that is one of the best in the country. And we are less than two hours from our beach condo. We are also in a highly desirable area with rising real estate values. paco works on the road so buying into an association where the yard work is taken care of was helpful. Our goal is a single home which we could have purchased had we bought in the next town over but we wanted to be in KSQ. I have my eye on a single home in the borough right now.. just need to complete the basement project and convince paco

All are fine except for the fridge. It's a POS. I was also told to NEVER buy a Samsung dishwasher. After the problems we have had with our fridge, I buy it.

I was also told to NEVER buy a Samsung dishwasher. After the problems we have had with our fridge, I buy it. There always seemed to be an issue with the ice rooms in the previous model Samsung fridges, but they did sort through that and release service bulletins on how to repair the problem. As far as the dishwashers go, I got rid of a Bosch for a Samsung. It’s the quietest dishwasher ever and so far I’m happy with it. Samsung has a giant footprint in the appliance business now, so you’re going to hear some dissatisfaction stories just due to the sheer number of items they have out there. General rule of thumb, these days, for the most part, you’re looking at getting 10 years out of an appliance so, get what you like.
