All harmless.  Keep a couple of those around and you won't have a rodent problem.  Unless you have a tiny dog.  Then you might have a problem.

Just got back from my mother's oncologist. They're really happy with the results of her latest CT Scan. All of the cancer has reduced a little. So a really good report.

just diagnosed with a strain of my abdominal fascia by a large, russian doctor named nikolai.  must be those 2,000 crunches i do every day.

Do it! My wifes aunt and uncle just sold their place at arrowhead lake in the Poconos. We would go spend a weekend up there every summer. I also thought I'd hate being in a community but floating in an inner tube around the lake with a 6 pack for a couple hours made it all worth it. Haha

Anybody own a house in the Poconos?  Never thought I'd be a fan of owning a home in a "Community" but went to a friends house in Pocono Springs and liked it.  Harley and I are about to pull the trigger on this beauty.

I live not even 10 minutes away ( no I am never coming to visit..... not even to see the niece  )..... the only thing about the Poconos now days is there are tons of New Yorkers( some great folks and some real morons that are still living their NewYorkstate of mind ) ....... that have moved to the region..... stretching  from Milford and Lake Wallenpaupack.... down through Stroudsburg and out through Mount Pocono ...... but all in all it's not a bad gig...... even for retirees like you.

Headed there next weekend to a friend's place.  Can't wait.  Get the kids fishing a little.

Anyone here using MoCA adapters in their network? Asking for a friend.

No..... we don't use it but have worked with it........  It's a good option if running cat 5/6 cable is not possible but there is already existing coax.  It's better than Wi-Fi...... just get a reputable manufacturer.

Oh, good, nerd talk.  I have wifi (Xfinity) in the house but can't pick it up in the RV some 200 feet away.  Thoughts?

My wife’s parents have a place up in the Poconos in Arrowhead Lake. They also have an apartment in NYC. I prefer to visit them in NYC. 🙂

i'm going "ghost hunting" at this place on saturday night.  should be fun.

well....it wound up being a lot more exploring old, abandoned buildings than "ghost hunting"...but it was still cool. would've done more "ghost hunting" if my wife weren't a chicken    and if the friends who came with us didn't get tired so early.  fun experience though.

turns out we were less than a 30 min drive from the flight 93 memorial...so we stopped there on our way home. really informative memorial...very respectful...and i learned some details i wasn't aware of....like the plane only being 18 minutes from D.C. & the intended target...the capitol building. if those passengers had hesitated, who knows how much worse 9/11 would've been.  and if that flight weren't delayed by 25 min, the passengers probably wouldn't have known about the other highjacked planes. stop by there if you're in that area.

My apologies, i ran out of chickies' meds.

I bought a new BMW back in 2018..... didn't like it... only kept it a year and a half. No problems with it..... just found it to be an average car with an overinflated price tag.

I was considering giving them another shot, but then I read they are now offering subscription based heated seats overseas. Not in the US at this time....... but these idiots want you to pay them monthly for things they already put in your car?

No thanks..... I ll stick with my Jeeps.

Wow, that's a terrible move.

Almost as bad as BMW charging a subscription for heated seats.....
