majority of the house was light gray! I did one bathroom in a blue and another bathroom in a yellow.

I know most people (who aren't @probably ) are just busting balls and having fun, because that's what we do here. There are tons of single dudes in my age range who meet some or many of the following: are slobs, live with roommates, live at home, live in some ghetto/rundown neighborhood, have some kind of substance abuse problem (drugs, alcohol, etc.), driving some 15 year old falling apart vehicle that they can still struggle to afford, are working some meaningless job making like $9 an hour, no education/prospects in life, credit score in the 500s, drowning in debt, you name it.

Those dudes have issues/faults/circumstances that will take YEARS AND YEARS to fix/improve, if at all/ever. Yet those dudes get chicks, get multiple chicks, get married, etc. Everything you guys have listed (wall colors, TV mounting, decorations, etc.) are ALL things that could literally be "fixed" within a week from now (maybe longer since its Coronavirus and I can't just lazily hire painters/contractors to come into my house right now and do work for me). Literally it could all be changed in a blink of an eye.

Women are constantly with dudes that are slobs, pieces of ish, abusive, cheat on them, you name it. It's not like women (on the whole) have these really high or unattainable standards compared to men. Women care about what they find physically attractive. I'm never gonna be 6'2' (shouts to my guy bung!) and I'm never going to have some sweet hairline (shouts to my guy hunt!), so the only real thing that's in my control is how fit/in-shape I am, and I fully realize I am actively lazy in that department!

So, your cool living like those people and dating trashy women. got it.

I just find it hysterical that "THAT" is the reason I'm not married or getting laid by twelve chicks a week. Is because of the inside of my house. Like did probs send his now-wife Polaroids of this inside of his house when he asked her out on the first date?

I see Agent like a little brother.  Agent, you are right.. you have accomplished a lot and should be proud of your education, your career and that you own a home.  I just feel bad when I hear you saying you're "too lazy" to make improvements to your home.  Or too lazy to be more active again.  I think you have a lot to offer a nice girl.. just don't let yourself go.. you're still young, but you won't be young forever!

This is his house though, right?  I think that, while poorly decorated, home ownership is a good step in the right direction.  

 

If I could recommend something:  Since you have your starter home consider taking on a home improvement project.  I started late in the game (frat house from 19-22, 22-25 renting, 25-29 homeless and then 29-37 in my downtown condo with no tools) and I wish I gained more experience when I was younger.  If you have cheap linoleum, take on a tiling project.  If your basement has light fixtures on a low ceiling, take a recessed light project.  Projects that are not too advanced but will improve the look of your home.  (And with youtube, its really easy to learn how to do a home improvement job)  

 

You'll appreciate the knowledge gained later on, it can improve the value of your home (if you apply the rennovations in the money areas) and there is honestly a sense of accomplishment with a project well done.
