The logic is sound, until you go to a casino and the cashiers need a physical card and every ATM on the strip also needs a physical card. So that was fun walking around looking for one

I get upset with places like home Depot that don't take contactless, but I also use cash at a hand full of local businesses cause the govt can't tax what it can't see

Capital One’s ATM even has contactless reader on it but not working It's Australian "cash", so I think they just boomerang their PIN into the brush somewhere and it comes back with their withdrawal.

They have those little tap spots at the ATM but you don't need a physical card to do it. I saw a couple of ATM's with the reader part but they don't work and it would just straight out ask insert card
