I was in consulting for 24 years.

No spouse nor kids... in another few days when I'll be living within 1 mile of 2 sets of relatives, and within 5ish miles of a friend and a third relative (who could check in on my cats), I would quite easily do it.

I like my current job, but I'm making around $575 per (business) day... so a pay increase that sounds like it includes tons of hotel points and guaranteed Diamond status... y'all hiring?!? lol

I’d watch a sheet ton of movies & shows & get paid while doing it. Is it 24/7 on call though? That would be rough.

It is. Less likely to get the call overnight, but still possible. I think I could do it for a while, but I'd go crazy eventually.

There are other considerations that come into play that would make an overnight call unlikely, but not impossible.
