Just got back from my mother's oncologist. They're really happy with the results of her latest CT Scan. All of the cancer has reduced a little. So a really good report.

Jesus.  I don’t even want to step on the scale.  Lockdown plus a busted leg has got to equal at least 10 lbs.  Plus, my wife hates to cook so we’ve been eating a ton of crappy meals since I can’t stand in the kitchen and cook.

I'm down 11 since Feb 16.  :groovy:

Joy of cooking thread.  Lots of healthy meals in there  :showoff:

Most of us can't shave our eyebrows to accomplish that.

I'm down about 10 pounds from not eating out all the time.

That's where I'm at.  The first two weeks was a drinking binge and I put on a little but after that I've been mostly good (weekends... still have had beer).  But cooking instead of eating out has been a big factor.  We tend to cook  healthier than what I would typically order.

Plus getting the Peloton (I'm so nervous!) for christmas helps.

I’ve seen some good stuff in there.  I’ll try something soon.

I'll recommend the mozzarella stuffed meatloaf.  Since you guys hate cooking its super easy to make (just use a pasta\marinara sauce instead of the blend in the recipie) and very much a comfort food.

You basically mix the pasta sauce, itallian seasoning, salt, and if you want it spicy some red pepper flakes and\or cayenne pepper in a bowl.  Mix the ground beef with the sauce mix.  Flatten out the mix and sprinkle some mozzarella in the center.  Roll it up into a ball, put on a baking sheet (lined with tin foil) and cover with more sauce and cheese.  20 mins in the oven at 400.

No bs bread filler and its nice and moist.

I'm around the same weight, but I'm on week 6 of an 8 week weightlifting/HIIT program so as I burn off the excess I'm gaining muscle (hopefully).  Definitely feels better to eat right and exercise daily.

might i also add that anytime  you're making a meatloaf to forgo the traditional meatloaf/bread pan and shaping the loaf by hand to your desire (or using the pan as a mold) then placing loaf on cooling rack on top of a pan. this will allow grease to drop away from loaf and allow additional even cooking and less greasy taste/result.

I have done this before.  It is a good meatloaf.  Almost like a giant mozzarella stuffed meatball.

Everything is realitive.

Found out about this recently.

Understandable that people are upset.

Can we make a new home here?

Kinda hard to tell.

You'd be surprised how easy it could be, though.

Only if we gave it a chance.

Under ambitious new management.

Eat.

A.

Deek.

I’m down 7 lbs! I’ve been working the peloton everyday and just added in yoga. I have a ways to go to get where I want to be but I’m actually feeling really good. No longer taking constant fertility injections is a big reason.

I have a weight bench and used it once!  Miss my 2 classes per week.

Sitting in my car waiting for Mr Di to be done treatment.  They took him right back. He waved to me out the treatment room window with his little mask on. I cried a little.
