The edge rusher market could be the better route with Chubb and Gary being options that wouldn't count against the comp pick formula, and potential bargains like Ebiketie and Epenesa. I would prefer Phillips still but that potential 25 million price tag concerns me.I like Epenesa, surprised he doesnt have a bigger market and not sure hes a fit in Vics scheme.
March 8Mar 8 Author I can’t stand "predictions” … they’re meaningless. But FI I’ll throw this in here anyway since it is potentially Eagles related.

I would expect them to either bring back Adore Jackson and draft a CB on day two to compete with him OR gamble on someone better in free agency for a little bit more money but stick to a one year deal.

March 9Mar 9 I congratulate Phillips on that outstanding contract. He was a stand up player when he was with the Eagles, and was able to cash that into a mega contract. The rental by the Eagles will translate into either a 3rd or 4th round comp pick most likely if the team stands down during free agency. My guess is that this will turn out to be an overpay by Carolina. Part of the reason Phillips was a standout in Philly was that he was surrounded by talent and had a guru in Fangio coaching him up. He won't have that with the Panthers. Otherwise, Jaelen was in good health during his time in Philly. He had his share of injuries with the Dolphins, and the Panthers will incur that risk now. Time will tell.
March 9Mar 9 Jags are open to moving BTJ. Trade AJ for him straight up since he’s on a rookie contract.
