No. They have made it pretty clear that they feel he's a valuable asset. They are predictably doing everything they can to persuade the rest of the NFL that that is how they feel.

Riley was their first choice, but he wasn't interested. He had strong ties to Hurts. Our new QB coach also has ties to Hurts.

The Eagles have made it pretty clear they want Wentz. They have fired their SB winning coach and hired the next best thing to Carson whisper Reich. They dumped a SB winning backup quarterback. They gave Carson a big contract. They have answered all the questions that have been asked about Carson. Carson’s camp is allegedly where the rumors came from. Quite hilarious and completely predictable an apologist would try and make him the victim over drama his people started and drama he’s refused to quell. Matt Stafford was under contract, but he got out of Detroit, cause he wanted out. Watson is probably getting out of Houston. Sure does seem like a lot of quarterbacks are getting out of their teams, cause they want out. Keep blaming the Eagles for Carson wanting out though. 🙄

For the record Jalen Mills can go anywhere and get a contract. I’m sure there are teams out there who would be willing to give him one. He wants to be an Eagle. You want Carson to be an Eagle, but I don’t think Carson wants to be an Eagle. Prove he does.

Part 2 (because I accidentally submitted the reply early (beacuse I'm a moron)).

Foles voided the option on his contract. He wasn't dumped.

They have only answered questions with team speak.

Show me where I apologized or made him a victim. This is really typical for your arguments. Create a strawman and attack the person that disagrees with you.

Finally, I don't have to "prove" anything about Carson. Like you, I have to wait and see what happens. I expect him to be traded. I expect him to embrace the move and I expect him to be a very good QB for a long time in the NFL wherever he plays. I'll be defending Hurts from the likes of you, I'm sure in the years to follow. Why? Because it's a team sport. It's always been a team sport. It will always be a team sport, Sport.

Our new QB coach also just came from an offense that had Kyle Trask at quarterback. Go look at his measurable’s and watch his game, tell me if he looks anything remotely like Jalen Hurts.

Yeah, it’s just a coincidence that their first choice was Hurts’ former college coach, and now that they hire a QB coach that is close with Hurts since he was a kid. Whether you want to believe it or not, the team clearly wants Hurts to be a part of this team’s future.

''All of the players'' aren't supposed to the QB, leader, and face of the franchise.  Your constant excuse making for Wentz is both predictable and pathetic.

If you want to recite QBs Brian Johnson has coached and how they compare to QBs on the roster then about Dak Prescott?

And people said hiring Frank Reich Jr meant the Eagles chose Wentz. So?

Seems like many are trying to fit their own narrative. The good news for them is that they have a better chance of being correct than landing on red/black in roulette.

Hypothetical: Carson does an interview and says he hasn't asked for a trade, he believes in himself and is working hard, had a good first meeting with coach Sirianni and understands it's a competition that's how the NFL is, always competing, always working to get better...

Does that make everyone shut up? Would you believe he didn't ask for a trade?  Would you stop slandering him calling him names?

Or would it not matter and not change anyone's mind?

I  couldn't care less what he says. Just put yourself out there and say something. He has had weeks to decompress and get over his little hissy fit about being benched. Going into hiding and taking a vow of silence when you are supposed to the franchise QB with everything that has gone on this season and over the last month is a **** ass move. It proves the stories correct that he isn't a leader and is a spoiled entitled me first player. Any normal person with any type of character or resolve who has made mistakes and gone through tough times picks themself up and moves forward sooner or later. This whole thing is just silly drama that could be at least calmed down with a simple tweet or instagram post.

What hissy fit?

What evidence do you have for spoiled, me first player?

Hypothetical (part 2): Why aren't people on Kelce's case? Is this the year he retires? Why isn't he telling us? Why is he staying so silent when it would help the team to know before the draft and free agency? Is he waiting to see what happens with Wentz and Ertz? Does he want to be part of a full-fledged rebuild?

So has anyone heard any stories about Carson working on his mechanics this off-season or are we just going to ASSume he will magically be like 2017 pre-injuries again?

Hmmmm. One guy is a center, the other is the supposed franchise QB and leader of the team. One guy either wants to retire because he's played a long time or come back and be an Eagle, the other has every league insider saying he wants to be traded and no longer wants to be an Eagle. Hello apple, my name is orange.

JR. isn’t here to "fix” Wentz. First off him being here doesn’t guarantee Wentz wants to be here and secondly the great one doesn’t believe he needs fixing. 🤷‍♂️ My personal belief is JR. is here because he’s easier to control than Josh McDaniels would be.

Here's what's going on with Wentz - he's staying in Philly unless some poorly run team makes a ridiculous offer that the Eagles simply can't refuse.

But the same reporters you believe about Wentz, say Sirianni was hired to fix Wentz.

He’s gone.

I seriously hate the media these days. You get all these reports about Wentz wanting a trade, then today that he doesn't want a trade, but the Eagles are fielding calls anyway. Screw them.

https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/eagles/nfl-rumors-carson-wentz-has-not-requested-trade-howie-roseman-fielding-offers

You need to have some empathy for sportswriters.  Back in the day, you had 3 or 4 beat writers covering the Eagles - max.  And there was an offseason.

Now, you have the internet, social media, a zillion blogs, a quadzillion podcast broadcaster wannabes, and these poor shmoes have to keep cranking out material day after day, hour after hour.  They have to find something, anything to write about.  And a quarterback controversy is as juicy as it gets.

Well that coach spoke and never specifically said he was here to fix Wentz. In fact he said there would be open competition and didn’t even commit to Wentz as his starter. I tell you it’s AWSOME to hear a guy use his own words rather than blow everyone off cause he thinks he’s better than he really is. Maybe if Carson stepped up and spoke there wouldn’t be media people speaking for him.

Lol, why are we comparing Wentz to a player like Kelce, or more ridiculously, Cox? The situations are entirely different. Neither Kelce nor Cox have any controversy surrounding them about being traded. Neither of them have been reported to be unhappy and wanting out. Not to mention, Kelce has been pretty open about considering retirement but never been reported to be disgruntled in any way. There are no rumors swirling for them to respond to. It's like part of a general epidemic these days of people comparing two completely different things and acting like they're the same. It's laughably illogical and just seems like people are desperately grasping for a way to deny the obvious.
