I'd say Howell or Slovis might be the number 1 qb next year. Maybe Rattler of he comes out early

Yep. I've seen guys trash him and call him the worst QB in the league. Then expect multiple picks for him. Hmmm so you are really saying you don't think he is that bad at all?

When/If Wentz gets traded, I expect us to draft a new QB at #6 or higher. Don't think Hurts is gonna be given the keys.

I can't see them taking a qb high back to back years. They'll stick with Hurts next year

Nah, hard pass on Slovis or the Tar Heels QB. This QB class isn't perfect but it beats what's coming next year.

Outside Lawrence and Wilson, I wouldn't take any in the first rd. I like Lance and Jones and wouldn't mind if they took them in the 2nd but both will more likely go in the first rd.

Eh.  Wentz wasn't on anyone's radar until his last season.  Same with Joe Burrow and Zach Wilson.

The new coach won't even say he thinks Wentz will be on the team next year?  It's hard not to read the tea leaves. So let's not be in denial about what's unfolding here. 

To the first bolded:  huh?  What evidence is there to say that Carson has been erased.  As in, it's already happened?

And I don't blame the new head coach who barely had a foot in the door to declare anything about any player.  He doesn't know if Howie is going to trade one of the QBs.  It's not his place to say if he's on the team this year or not.  But when did he say anything about whether Wentz will be on the team next year?  He's said he has 2 good QBs, had a good conversation with Wentz and is excited to work with him.

People really read into things and see what they want to see, hear what they want to hear.  And these bloggers just make ish up and people believe it.

 

According to reports there are teams inquiring about a Wentz trade and the reply from the Eagle are "we're not interested in trading him".

The talking heads are saying trade him for a #1 to the Colts who made the playoffs so it'll be a low 1st, which I agree with if you can get a 1st, I'd be willing to accept as low as a 3rd.

If these reports are true the Eagles organization is tripping, the last thing you want is a malcontent on your team, besides a 1st would put the organization in good shape to have a great 2021.

i'd take the Colts 1st + a conditional 3rd/4th next year.  Remember that when you factor in diminishing returns the Lions got the value of a 2nd and 2-3rd's

"Win 2-3 games and then cut him?" This guy was a Heisman Trophy winner runner up, maybe give him a chance to be the guy, and have the lockeroom rally around him (which they weren't doing anymore for Wentz) and see what happens.

Well I'm not 17. Ive been watching alot longer since 2017. And how stupid do you have to be to believe a Heisman means jack $hit in the NFL? Tebow actually won one of those and now he is the worst player on the Mets single A baseball team. Manziel won one as well.  I watched Hurts for three years at Bama who I follow. He sucks. There is a reason Saban chased him out.  He isn't a NFL caliber QB. So take your childish temper tantrum somewhere else.

That's a good question these days when everyone with a twitter account is seen as "the media".  I tend to pay closer attention to the Eagles beat guys from the local platforms like the Inquirer and local TV stations.  Like Les Bowen, for example.  Speculating about NFL moves during the offseason is an inexact science so we'll see but it feels like a trade is in the air.
