my thoughts exactly. he has the talent, but ever since he dumped his highschool sweetheart and got with the succubus he’s been progressively getting worse and worse. Has all the talent in the world and I hope he figures it out, but it’s time to move on if we get a decent return.

I gave him three years. I'm a Bama alum and watched every game of his. I don't like him as a QB. He can't throw. His arm is below average.

At this point in the eagles relationship with wentz I agree with most that it’s time to move on. I think he’s mega talented and certainly has the potential to be a top qb, however it’s not going to happen here as the eagles seem to have wrapped him in cotton wool and have turned him into a spoiled brat it would seem. A change of scenery is needed for both parties to be able to thrive IMO.

Issue for me is that I’m completely unsold on Hurts. I would much rather we use our number 6 pick on best available qb (although I admit that my knowledge on this years qb prospects is non existent)

Uh Foles has gotten benched in Chicago and Jacksonville. The magic is gone. I don't want him back to watch him suck. That would be depressing. And by the way whatever GM made that deal would be the biggest moron in the league. Wentz is worth first round picks. Foles isn't close to that. That's stupid.

If it's true that Wentz wants out despite Doug being gone, that he just wants away from Howie and the whole organization...hopefully his agent is advising him well.  It would help the situation for Wentz to be willing to renegotiate his contract with a new team.  He could even have say in which team he goes to.  Everyone get to the negotiation table and work out a win/win/win. 

Carson still gets a good contract situation, the Eagles take less of a cap hit and the new team takes on a bit less of the guaranteed money (or however it would work out).  Move money to a signing bonus or whatever tricks they do to get around the cap.
