If and when this trade goes down I’m convinced the beanbaggers will not admit they were wrong about Carson, but they will blame the "Wentz haterzzzzz” for him being gone. Just watch....

I will make my judgments based on what Carson and the Eagles say after the trade. Unlike you guys who are making your judgments with no statements from anybody officially.

Eskin is never right.  And all he did here is take already previously separately reported information about the Bears and Colts having interest and combined it to make his own little fake report.  The king is a complete fraud.

And if he says nothing (like he’s been doing) what are you going to do then?

I’m not even sure what Eskin is even posting here. Seems like a condescending comment when he add the question mark. So he doesn’t think Wentz will be traded? Seems like a wasted tweet by him.

I honestly think Wentz will rebound and become a stud with his new team especially if it's the Colts.

He might. I certainly do not believe it will happen in Philadelphia though.

For "reported” 2 first rounders am not sure there should be much resistance. The player on top would be a cherry hahahahaha. No way is wentz worth 2 1st rounders even if he bounces back big time. Let’s ship the whiny boy out for that package for sure 🤪

That’s the fear I have. But the reality is, it doesn’t matter so long as he doesn’t even want to be here. From my perspective, if Carson wanted to remain in Philly there are no trade talks.

If he wants to leave, then don’t see what choice the team has.

I wonder how much of a colossal f up Howie would manage with picks 6 and 20.

Yeah he definitely needs a new start. The Colts have a solid team with good chemistry. He's damaged goods here and nobody seems to like him. Let's just hope Hurts will be a stud too because if so, coupled with a possible 1st then it's a win win for us. Excited to see the outcome

If he's traded, both parties will eventually say something.

The right thing to do would be professional and respectful, not saying anything to contribute to the soap opera. Ideally, there won't be any fodder for the gossip or character attacks.

Each party make a PC statement and move on.

Of course that will do nothing to stop the apologists group that will blame the so called Wentz haterzzzz for this guy wanting out. 🤷‍♂️

I heard it on Get Up for the past two days, they didn't specify where the reports came from.

Nothing will stop people on both extremes from their confirmation bias, deflections, excuses, name call, etc.

His next team could call him a great teammate, leader and high character person and it wouldn't change any "haters" minds either.

Lol

I have yet to see anyone blaming a fan or the media for anything.  Sub standard drafting, roster construction, game planning and coaching have been the issues discussed all season.  There was a poll on this board if you could keep 1 and fire 2, it was overwhelmingly Doug and Howie go.

I see this as a strong possibility. But if he continues to take the approach of not taking accountability and refuses to be coached up (if these rumors are true) i dont see him lasting as a starter, anywhere.

I don’t doubt Carson is a great person/teammate, but that doesn’t mean he can also be selfish and bull headed too. With that being the case when he’s gone. He’s gone. My original statement was about people blaming the so called Wentz haterzzz for him being gone. You can try and slant away my original point without addressing it, but that doesn’t mean I need to ignore it while everyone tries to.

Even when Carson was considered good the Eagles averaged 8 wins a season with him. For me when he’s gone this is all over and I don’t really care what he does.

Yeah cause that would be a great look for the Eagles with players in the future. You draft a franchise quarterback, fail to build around him properly, bring in bad coaching, trade him for a huge dead cap hit and then he goes on and has success elsewhere. That’ll have all kinds of players wanting to come to Philly.

Not for nothing, but George Ofmam has been been in Chicago sports radio for 47 years. I’m sure in that time he may have talked to a few people inside the Bears organization and at least knows how to get some information. The other guy is a jabroni from the internet who isn’t even using his real name. You decide who you want to believe. 🤷‍♂️

Or you draft a quarterback, he stinks and you get rid of him like every other team does. Next.

Anyone who has been around that long has some level of contacts just like anyone in any business. I have been in PPE for 20 years and have plenty of contacts. I believe his tweet is credible.

I still think we just get what we can out of Carson and few other players. See if Hurts is anything next with full off season. Then if he busts we get a high draft pick. Sounds pretty normal NFL crap.

Eagles are not a real dumpster fire like Bengals or Jags if we go back into the draft next year with a high pick there is good chance we find a good QB (maybe one this time whos feelings don't get hurt easy) and we figure it out.

Since his ACL injury he’s 17-21-1.    I’m not sure if that’s more of a referendum on him, Doug, or the team but Wentz has not been among the elite QB’s in the NFL since 2017 and who knows how likely he is to get back to that.   He’s probably somewhere in between 2017 and 2020 for the rest of his career.
