Nice cop-out.

Now show me the people that claim he's far and away the best starter in franchise history. Certainly there will be several, seeing as how hold the claim was.

I don’t think I used the term "far and away,” but you sure do seem quite butthurt I dared to claim he wasn’t. 🙄

So you can't do either?

Why am I not surprised?

It’s funny you want me to do what you want me to do, but you never really responded to my statement. You just went on a crazy apologists rant. Look buddy Carson is not the greatest quarterback in Eagles history. He’s gonna be gone soon. Get over your obsession.

I never claimed he was? I'm asking for the facts that you keep spewing.

Are you disabled, by chance?

Well that fact you got butthurt over my claim makes me scratch my head. Are you a Wentz apologists?

No, like I've said, he's definitely one of the better QBs to come through, statistically. You seem to believe that everyone thinks he's the best QB in franchise history and when I asked who thinks that, you started calling me an "apologist".

My issue doesn't come with Wentz himself or how you feel about him. Couldn't care less. My issue is that you and a few others make these baseless claims and as soon as anyone questions it, you go on a rant about them being a Wentz "apologist" whether it's accurate or not.

Here's an example:

"These Wentz Washers think he does nothing wrong 🙄"

"He certainly does, but the rest of the team is also terrible. We're a mess of a franchise right now"

"Typical apologist defending their golden boy"

That's the issue. Any post that doesn't involve Wentz getting absolutely crap on is immediately responded with the same garbage.

He was great until he got married. Women ruin everything 😅

So you’re not an apologist, so you don’t qualify. Good day sir.

I could list the Eagles and NFL records Nick Foles holds in response to this, but I don’t think he’s the Eagles greatest quarterback in history either.

Yes you could, and go find any post where anybody is claiming that Carson Wentz is the greatest quarterback in Eagles history, but I can also prove that nobody ish all over Nick Foles when he left.

Yes, to an extent.   However, I am with the ITB guys, this organization has failed on a massive level with this.

Oh I agree, they've failed massively on multiple fronts.

Throwing all stats out the window and including the only one that matters. Foles is the best Eagles QB ever.

1) Foles is not a good QB he's proven that.

2) This is no ordinary back up. One Hurts mistake and the fans will be screaming for Foles. It's literally the worst thing they could do if they plan to move forwards with Hurts or draft someone in the first round.

See my last post. It would be an awful decision in my opinion.

1)  He doesn't play well anywhere else, but he's been a good QB in Philly.

2)  Maybe Hurts isn't sensitive like Wentz and could handle a good backup.

Let me ask you a question, no bad intentions or looking for an argument. Just something I've been thinking about and find it to be interesting.

Dont you think that it is a bit strange that the team tied to a Wentz trade the most is the Bears?

Matt Nagy worked with Doug Pederson and runs basically the same offense. Doug was supposedly fired because Wentz didn't like him and the play calling

The QB coach is the coach that supposedly Wentz didn't like and was also fired because of it.

Then there is Foles who the Eagles chose wentz over and the guy who got into Wentz's head. He is most likely traded or cut but, still strange.

Also! The bears actually ran the ball less and less effient.

Why on earth are the bears entertaining this idea if all the above speculations are true?

The colts don't have as many question marks and reasons why guys are not with the team anymore but, they still have Groh who again another guy Wentz supposedly couldn't work with.

So there's this:

If true, Howie out here making trades like Chip Kelly.

Not the strongest source.  My guess is that Howie is trying to stoke the fire.  Doubt any trade is going down during Super Bowl Sunday.  This should percolate for the next few days.

How? They get a first, Foles who they can restructure and maybe help groom Hurts, a first, and Cohen who was pretty good till he got hurt and can help on special teams. People were saying the Eagles had to give up picks to get rid of Wentz.

The only two teams who are showing any real interest are both that have some knowledge of 2017. I think they all believe they can make that guy come back. I’m sure people will find out soon enough. There is no doubt Wentz has talent, but there is no way that comes back here. He needs to be gone, and the Eagles need to move on.

They don't need to restructure his current deal. It's not unreasonable for a #2.

People here say a lot of stupid things. Without restructuring Wentz' contract, it's actually pretty favorable for other teams since we will be taking much of the hit this year and next. Which means he is pretty tradeable. But critics that are over-critical tend to spew nonsense about player-value and say things that are far from true.

There were some people at the time it happened thought the Eagles chose to keep the wrong quarterback. I know, cause at the time I believed the Eagles made the right choice. When Carson goes everyone will not morn. Just move on.

It’s a good joke, but unfortunately in this case it’s true.  Carson spent all offseason playing house instead of focusing on his game.

No matter how you look at this I don’t think this is a bad deal for the Eagles.

Just the wacky combo of picks and QB swap. These days we get Madden-like trades in the NFL.
