Also, a lot of people aren't thinking about this: His agent definitely doesn't want him talking. This is how he helps Wentz land the best deal possible. Silence is not only golden, it's $$.

Both sides can spin things to other teams by keeping it private.  Blame coaches, injuries, point to past performance, etc.  Drama in social media will lower trade value which hurts the Eagles.  Yet people are legit angry because Carson didn't tweet about it.

Both sides being silent and handling things privately helps the Eagles get the best trade value for our team.  Yet many of our fans want the hurt the team's value in return, to satisfy some weird blood lust to hate on the QB.

All a matter of price. Picks can help you get younger and rebuild, too.

Not with Howie in charge of the draft.

Wentz- question going forward

Sanders- can't stay healthy

Dallas- same as Miles

JJAW- terrible

Raegor- question

Etc etc...

How does this dude still have a job?!?!?!

Howie is making the picks so no thanks.

In fact if they want lineman and they think they're closer and not in a rebuild, trade them Johnson or Brooks. Or give them an extra pick they can themselves use on a young lineman.

I don't know what you are talking about.

Picking players for the OL has to be one of the biggest strengths of the FO.

Most people hate Howie, sure.

There are guys here frothing at the mouth over Wentz.  Calling him petulant, soft, weak, bad leader, etc. because he doesn't post on social media about his employment.

Broncos reportedly releasing AJ Bouye...clears up quite a bit of cap space for them.  If there is anyone we can sucker into overpaying for a QB, it's the Broncos.

No.

So you're going to bring back a QB that doesn't want to be a part of your team?  Not smart.

I'd take what I can get an move on, otherwise you'll have a divided locker room, Went supporters vs the remainder of the locker room.

At some point, you have to have some self respect. Yes, situation sucks, but you cannot get ripped off like that because of it.

Throwing away assets because you are impatient and desperate doesn't bode well for the future either.

I don't recall any availability issues with Sanders worth talking about.

It's not a matter of being impatient or desperate, it's a matter of moving on.

It's kinda like a divorce, do you want to be the spouse that wants to get all you can get from a failed marriage or are you one to just move on, I mean who wants to be in a marriage when you spouse wants out?  If she doesn't want to be there you shouldn't want her there.

Makes me wonder why we call them professional athletes. Some people sure seem to want to treat them like a bunch of fragile  crybabies. If they really don't want to play to their potential because they don't like a decision their employer made they are only hurting themselves. I understand locker room dynamics play a role but I think some take that that too far. Winning changes attitudes real quick. Besides, does it really matter next season? It's going to be S* show either way. I have no problem testing players next year, on the field and in the locker room.

He has missed time both seasons despite limited workload.

Yes, winning changes things, so does losing, can you imagine Wentz returning and getting off to an 0-5 start?

I'm not buying a sheet show for next year, have a good draft and we're in the mix.

I don't recall anything substantial.

Yet people stay in marriages all of the time even when they want out. Sometimes you need to,or even have to, find a way to make it work.

Yes, it does happen.....for a while, once one is in a position to bolt they're usually gone if they think it's still not working after "trying".

The unfortunate thing is some marriages bring out the worse in each other.

I'm sure Wentz never thought he'd be a Howie hater but it's been reported Howie is the issue, just like hubby says wifey is the issue and visa versa.

Personally I believe it's the fans, he just couldn't stand how damn near everyone turned on him.

He missed 4 games in 2020.

I just want to see how this place would explode if Wentz goes to Chicago or Indy and wins a Super Bowl.

Who said anything about social media? You’re reaching again. He’s a Fing professional athlete with a $100M contract. He can very easily speak to someone in the media, or release a statement to dispute his rumored desire to be traded. Except he won’t, because it isn’t a rumor it’s a fact.

Elway stepped down so we don't know if the new guy is an idiot or not

Plenty of people are.  Comments have been said that he could post to Twitter or Instagram to make a comment.

Sirianni said he's met with Carson and had a good meeting.  We have to assume his agent is talking to Howie.  His agent has probably advised Carson not to speak at all.  No media, no statement.

People are legit upset at Carson for keeping things private.  Which is the professional thing to do.

Then they say, "him not saying anything proves he wants out!!" There you go then you got your answer what are they complaining about then? Lol

He's still there.  Just gave up the GM title.

I know but, giving up the GM title means he doesn't get say in those horrible moves he was making. Wish our GM would do that.
