He missed 4 games in 2020.

Maybe Doug should have run the ball more because I didn't notice an absence that long.

I know but, giving up the GM title means he doesn't get say in those horrible moves he was making. Wish our GM would do that.

He's still President of Football Operations.  I'm sure he still has his opinion heard on personnel.  Howie should call him, and say "oh didn't hear you weren't GM anymore.  Listen, Lock sucks.  Give me a 1 and a 2 for Carson and get yourselves a savior. Whaddya say?"

Plenty of people are.  Comments have been said that he could post to Twitter or Instagram to make a comment.

Sirianni said he's met with Carson and had a good meeting.  We have to assume his agent is talking to Howie.  His agent has probably advised Carson not to speak at all.  No media, no statement.

People are legit upset at Carson for keeping things private.  Which is the professional thing to do.

Who said they met, last I heard he spoke to him, that's all?

Lol! He might be able to get that done! I have faith in Howie! 🙄Lol

It's not a matter of being impatient or desperate, it's a matter of moving on.

It's kinda like a divorce, do you want to be the spouse that wants to get all you can get from a failed marriage or are you one to just move on, I mean who wants to be in a marriage when you spouse wants out?  If she doesn't want to be there you shouldn't want her there.

So you would be the guy that says: Fine, take everything! 😄

Well these days "met" can often mean virtually because of COVID.  Whether that's phone or zoom, that's not the point.  The point is people saying he's petulant and not speaking, didn't post a tweet to welcome the new coach.  He spoke to the coach, he doesn't have to tweet about it.  It's silly.

Who said anything about social media? You’re reaching again. He’s a Fing professional athlete with a $100M contract. He can very easily speak to someone in the media, or release a statement to dispute his rumored desire to be traded. Except he won’t, because it isn’t a rumor it’s a fact.

He's mismanaging the communications piece big time.  He hasn't spoken publicly in two months despite the whirlwind. He didn't even make a statement welcoming the new coach (who himself went out of his way NOT to embrace Wentz).  It's a cluster and it will end badly.

Then they say, "him not saying anything proves he wants out!!" There you go then you got your answer what are they complaining about then? Lol

Because, because he has to!  He "owes the fans" or it's bad leadership...to not tweet.  LOL

He has missed time both seasons despite limited workload.

He played every game as a rookie. This is a stupid myth about Sanders.

He was sat in week 17 along with everyone else. So he’s a RB — basically the most injury prone position in the league — that has missed 3 out of 32 career games. Big deal.

I thought he missed a game or two as a rookie. That's my bad, I was wrong about Sanders. Everything else in my post was spot on.

It is getting tiring to have to go post on FB and Twitter that I have responded to X poster on the EMB.  I don't know how these athletes have any time to themselves having to post there every single move and intention to social media.

I think I'm still an Eagles fan, but at this point I'm hoping for the most hilariously bad outcome for this whole fiasco, just so we can laugh more at Howie.

How much more embarrassing do you think this can get? It feels like us and the Texans are the laughing stock of the league right now.

He's not going to announce on his social media that the reports are wrong and that he wants to be here, is excited for the upcoming season and has a great relationship with the organization because none of that would be true.

But he also isn't going to go on social media and say he feels the relationship between him and the organization is irreparable and he wants a trade because that is not at all his style and he doesn't need to do that.  He can and obviously has expressed these thoughts to the organization without need of having to do so himself publicly.

You know how fast that can flip.

In 1999, the Eagles were widely panned as the worst franchise in the league - the worst.  No coach worth his salt would want the job.  And then Andy Reid was hired.

Your mistake is reading too many reports in the media.  Sportswriters are frustrated players and way more often than not, are absolutely clueless.

No one wants to work with Howie. He is a joke.

Wentz doesnt get traded and Eagles end up paying 30 million a year for him to sit on a bench.

That would be horrible for the Eagles. He says one word about wanting to be traded and the little leverage Howie has goes out the window.

He hasn't said he wants to be with the Eagles. There is your answer. Nothing more is needed. Some of you act like a guy who hasn't heard back from a woman in two months. Please say something!!  I don't know where you stand!!

I'm guessing Howie or his agent is "controlling" Wentz. Truth be told, Wentz doesn't owe us fans anything. We will hear from him after a deal is made.

Is this loser cry baby off our roster yet?
