12 turnover worthy plays? Are they saying that in three weeks time he actually should already have 12 interceptions???

I’m guessing both INTs and fumbles that could have been lost.

This is the kind of stuff that annoys me most about PFF. When they basically make a stat out of thin air to try and justify their operations. I guess they have no choice so they can justify their ridiculous pricing.

Yeah I mean that's a little ridiculous. What's a turnover worthy play? What is the parameters for that?

I’m guessing any play that shows he was careless enough with the ball that he either turned it over, or came close to turning it over.

You never can tell with PFF. Their stats seem generally vague and can be interpreted other ways.

I’d have to take your word for it. I don’t follow PFF.

Maybe they are tossing out the random end of half hail mary turnovers or the ones that go through a WRs hands. I am sorry, an INT is an INT and it hurts the team just as much no matter who's fault it is. "turnover worthy"... give me a break.

I don’t either. There are many who do. Especially those who gush over pressures being so important.

The thing that concerns me with Wentz is that the things that he's doing so badly this year are the things he's always done badly.

He can't pass outside of the numbers. He's just not accurate enough. And so if you take away the stuff over the middle and force him to beat you by throwing outside he can't do it.

Josh Allen has become what we wanted Wentz to be

Beast outside of the pocket though. Go figure. Frustrating to watch. Then i see Goff running plays that Wentz should be running with the roll outs and such.

Funny you mentioned that, I was just thinking he's another Wentz.

While he's having a decent stretch, he's not a natural, he rarely hits his WRs in stride, he'll revert back to what we've seen from him prior to this 3 game stretch.

He did throw a few passes that should have been easy INTs but the defenders dropped them.  Perhaps that factors into a pass being considered "TO worthy”?

Nah.  But Burrow will become that guy.  Herbert isn’t looking too bad either.

Contrary to popular belief young QBs do improve. He's been balling.

You're probably right. Really no excuse in a league that favors the passer though. Really disappointed with Wentz. Hoping he can turn it around.

I guess, but it’s too vague of a concept to make it a thing. Defenders drop interceptions. Still I can’t think of 12 almost interceptions from Carson. Heck he has plenty of real turnovers to be upset about. No need to dwell on the fake ones.

Honestly I’m disappointed in the whole team.  I’m watching all these games and seeing so many players on all teams look so inspired and motivated and energized.  Very few look that way on our team.  It’s depressing.

Like I said last week. This team has just gotten boring to watch.

I was assuming 12 = INTs, almost INTs, and fumbles?

No doubt.  That immediately points a finger at coaching and the GM for failing to add good football players.  I stated earlier (perhaps in another thread but can’t be sure) that I’m more tired of Doug and Howie than anyone else - they both need to go.  I hate that they’ll likely be safe for more years than they should because of the SB win a few years ago.

That's what I thought. I saw it as a stat throw out to illustrate that Wentz isn't protecting the ball very well.

Probably, but you never can tell with PFF and their magical stats.
