Contrary to popular belief young QBs do improve. He's been balling.

The thing is ball placement by way of touch, velocity, trajectory and leading is something that a QB does by way of instinct, some have that instinct and others don't.

So many times I see incorrect velocity and trajectory on Wentz's passes, it's like he's a pee-wee league QB.

Bump. Lol

Wentz and the Eagles are first in the east... 😆

Boom!

Wentz today looked like the Wentz at the end of last year.

And we got a reciver named fug em lmao

I give Carson credit for showing fight in this one, but my boy up there acting like he was killing it all game. That was hardly the case.

Wentz looked/ played good today. Doesn't move my view of average. Needs to show more then one game. Had a couple of throws off target. Clean it up and be better

I was happy to see him get out of his funk a little bit and show something. Definitely still to reckless definitely still off on a lot of throws. Dude fought though it's hard to hate on him when he plays like he did in the second half

He basically had one great throw, several good ones, and several bad ones. It was his typical inconsistency, but at least he’s using his legs again and he appears to be getting away from pressure.

His legs add a dimension to this offense we haven't seen in 2 years. The inconsistent throws are still there. He needs to be better and put those on target. Less of those tonight then the first 3 weeks

I’m not hating on him, but someone bumped this thing like Carson just threw for 400 yards 6 touchdowns in an Eagles blowout. He fought and I give him credit for that, but this game was a lot of the same inconsistent play we have been watching.

I mean he threw an amazing td pass to a dude named Fug Em. That's gotta count for something lmao. That stat about 10 different receivers 50 routes was eye opening. He needs to be better for sure but damn can we get lucky on one of these picks jeez

Him running adds a dimension his game needs because of his inconsistent passing. The problem is that can also lead to him getting injured again. It’s a double edge sword, but frankly his ability to be mobile is what mostly makes him special.

Oh I know why it was bumped lol. I'm definitely not on that level. He is gonna get concussed if he doesn't stop that ducking under on coming defenders, cause he isn't going to get under far enough and get his his head wacked or his neck effed up.

I think that's why they drafted Hurts. Run Wentz less

Then maybe the move should have been to get another weapon for Wentz so he doesn’t have to run so much. I don’t know just a suggestion.

It would be nice. It was also nice seeing undrafted and late round recievers helping out. Then to have Mailtita play decent was even more encouraging.

Not encouraging to see Kelce with the snap yips again.

I gave props to Avery, Wentz, Singleton, Slay, and Folgham today. I’m well above my nice guy quota. 😂

Sweat is also having himself a season.

His decision making was much improved. He didn't really have the high throws he typically does --- I think he was settled down a bit today (which is remarkable based on the offensive lineman we are having to use) . The INT was just a pass batted at the LOS and he salvaged possession after the wild snap. He had to buy some time today with his legs and that didn't end up hurting us. He still has more things to work on --- but maybe the most important thing I saw today was that he had no choice but to trust the other guys out there. IMO, in the past, trust was a weakness of his. I really believe that's part of why Hollins and JJAW lacked meaningful production in the last 2 seasons. But tonight, hopefully he learned a lesson that helps the whole team moving forward.

Sometimes I wonder if Wentz thrives better in a chaos and basically is playing back yard football and not in a structured offense
