This. It's funny the 1 year he was elite he was able to have a normal off season, like you said no rehab or pandemic, and basically the entire offsense didn't die.

To me, it all boils down to this:

2016 - Rookie with weapons such as Paul Turner and Dorial Green-Beckham. Struggled.

2017 - Talent all around him good enough to win SB. Played at an MVP level

2018 - Coming off of a major injury, but has talent around him. Plays extremely well.

2019 - Relatively no help around him. Plays okay.

2020 - LOL

Bottom line, when he has had an inkling of talent around him, he's been a very good to elite level QB. When he has no one around him and no offensive line, he's been (between last season and so far this year) average.

Get the guy some help that can stay on the field

I'll put it to you very simply, if this team ditches Carson Wentz they'll be the laughing stock of the NFL, like worse than the Browns.  

Fact of the matter is if you put all the injuries aside for a minute Carson is/was going through some ish this year. But even with everyone hurt his stock is trending upward these last few games and as this team gets healthier hopefully he'll continue the trend.

you dont care about this team winning again because you know this team is bad, you are what the record is. heck we could be 3-13, 4-12 for next 5 years and still make the excuses to keep him because you have a man crush on this guy if you cared about this team winning you would be throwing him under the bus, just like i threw mcnabb under the bus when he choked that sb because it's about winning and not man crushing on him.

i hope when he gets traded or released you wentz apologists go root for him on another team because you are not an eagles fan, you are wentz fan. eagles fans dont tolerate losing.

I support the starting QB of the Eagles, the name on the back doesn’t matter to me.

According to Next Gen Stats, Carson Wentz has a 23.8 passer rating on extended plays (4.0+ seconds to throw) this season.

Well probably after allegedly. 

Irvin was talking about when Wentz had good players around him in 2016 and 2017 when we still had Reich and DeFilippo on the coaching staff and did well with Dougie and Wentz in their respective positions.  When those two left it seemed the playcalling was not suited to Wentz' strengths.  Also, Irvin does have a point about playing with those he is familiar with, we are starting more new players over the course of this season than any team in football.
