I'm not sure what's the bigger meal of crow for Howie....releasing 2nd rounder JJAW after 1 year and change (who everyone already knows is a bust anyway) or releasing 3 rookie draft picks from 2020 before mid-season. I actually think the later might look worse.

Jeffery and Jackson are already on the roster. Only Reagor is on IR and he still needs a couple weeks at least to heal.

Rather release Hightower than Watkins. Hightower gets open but loves dropping passes. He's our new Agholor.

I guess it takes no whiz kid to realize where on the totem pole JJAW really is. There is really no point in him being on the team. If was not a 2nd round pick he would have been long gone by now..... Meh can't hurt? Can't imagine Ross is going to get a big deal after this year anyway so it's essentially trading one WR for another in the hope you get the better end of the move.
