Are the Eagles Becoming a Dysfunctional Organization?

some of you are spoiled to think this organization is dysfunctional.

no, dysfunctional is what lurie bought from braman, and what chip kelly did to the team, this is a down year.

That's exactly right. During the time Lurie has owned the team, there have been 4 other years like this - 1998, 2005, 2012, 2020 and now this year, maybe you can count 2015 as well, but that team was still competitive. Like 2026, each of those years saw injuries to their QB's. This will be a reset year. Siri is probably gone at the end of the year. The OL will need to be retooled during the offseason. But I expect a decent haul in the draft given the team's projected high slotting, and a better HC. The owner and the GM are too good for this to be an extended down turn.

Like Nick Foles said, the Eagles org let the pedigree culture die. A running back gets knocked on his ass,

and the o lineman standing RIGHT there doesn't even help him up- just keeps walking. And nobody says anything about it.
Guess who would grab that offensive lineman's mask and give him hell? Jeff Stoutland. But they

dumped a great coach- for F_ in what??? The culture the Eagles once had is DEAD now. Siri is

a big reason, but there is something even deeper going one.

it's down year. hopefully that's all it is, but this front office has shown before that they can right the ship so i'm going to go against the idea that there's a ton of dysfunction.

i know this thread is only asking if it's starting, but we all know this city's sports media, and they are already running the 24/7 eagles dysfunction hotline.

this year will test this team's character for sure.

If this type of Eagles season was a "trend” that was continuing to develop, then yeah, it may be categorized as Dysfunctional.

But, thus far, seasons like this are "outliers” for the Eagles.

They cannot be great every year. I had noooooo expectations that they would be more than a 10 win team this season. Welp, I was wrong 😑. They may not get to 4 wins. 😝

As far as what we are seeing on the football field, I agree about it possibly being an outlier in the grand scheme. But for this thread topic, I'm also looking at how this organization has been handling things overall...how they're structured, etc.

If you go back to the original post, another thing I'd add to the list of observations would be the handling of Jeff Stoutland. They stripped him of the run game coordinator title and however that went down, it must have pissed Stout off and things devolved to where he didn't want to remain being "just" the OL coach followed by the Eagles not letting him out of his contract so he could coach somewhere else this year.

This kind of talk usually occurs during losing.
