Pure speculation on my point but I bet DeFilippo is not back because Carson did not like that type of coaching. In my opinion Taylor is not suited to be a QB coach right now. We have seen his mechanics all over the place for the better part of two years. I think they need a QB coach that will get in Carson's grill at the times it is necessary. DeFillipo would do that.  I don't know if Taylor is. I'm kind of doubting it.

I am leaning that way too.  I don't think they got along and whether it was stylistic or because Wentz doesn't like getting ridden hard, the reality is he was at his best with DeFilippo.

It should be obvious he’s not. Since the beginning of 2019 which has always had week to week mechanical issues. One week look great and then the next week he won’t and it’s been like that. That tells me he’s not harping on mechanics. I think wentz can do reading the defense and all the other stuff. What he needs is a coach that’s going to grill him and make him know that mechanics are as important as reading the defense. Right now we have a quarterback coach who rather be his friend and buddy then be the bad guy cause Carson might not like it 

Why are the Eagles coaches so hellbent on making Carson a pocket passer? He’s clearly not accurate enough to be that guy. Get him on the move, because he’s so much better on the move. Also Donald is salivating looking a Carson the statue right there while this bum blocks me one on one.

It’s abundantly clear. Even at the end of 2016 you saw his mechanics get more consistent. Which led into 2017 where his mechanics were consistent for most of the year and when he had a bad game the next week he was back to consistency

Offensive play calling has been better.

Wentz is having...an okay (?) game. Not great. Not bad. Just okay. Do like that he's not holding the ball forever and is moving around more. Don't like the wild throws. Tighten that in the second half.

At least give them some credit. They got Reagor in motion today and Jalen hurts on the field twice. That’s more creativity than I’ve seen from them in the first three months of the season over the last two years
