Cochis_Calhoun Posted October 4, 2020 Share Posted October 4, 2020 No, it has to be an outside guy, besides Duce isn't that good with the RB rotation, there were games last year early on where Howard was falling forward for 5 yards a tote and then Duce would decide to sprinkle in a whole lotta Sproles so we could prove he was done as an NFL level runner, it was annoying as all hell. The "elaborate" stuff should be shut down because it's just not very good to start with. When you design a play where success can only happen if everybody executes perfectly, it's a bad design. Compound it with a team that is struggling in all areas and you see an instruction video on how to dig a hole. Anyway, it's not just the QB --- it's about the QB and his receivers. Simplifying some things can help more than 1 person. When things are back on track and players are on the same page, you can start to sprinkle in some wrinkles. But also what can Doug do when his QB can't hit open guys? That overthrow for Sanders last weekend...
