AI. No way am I counting that many lol

Sam Jackson and The Rock were some others but that guy having that damn many was hilarious that I couldn't resist roll

The man makes a lot of films that don't warrant Wikipedia pages, he has a weird career where he still gets offered small roles in major pictures while making a lot of straight to streaming dross and Lavalantula level **** monster pics.

Got around to watching Thunderbolts. Man, that was so dumb. A lot wrong with it, did a bunch of middle schoolers write it?

I've been looking at on D+ since it was released, wondering whether to dip into it or just avoid it like the plague. I ended up watching the Amanda Knox drama instead and that is decent so far. I just wish the Italian woman in it were hotter.

Thunderbolts was better than Brave New World.

Agree, which isn't saying much.

Thunderbolts, but maybe FF too. I haven't seen that one yet but I've heard it's better than Brave New World as well.

I'm going to wait for FF to come on D+ and use that as the decision to go back to the Thunderbolts - if FF is ok, then that will be a meh film for me.

i haven't seen FF yet. i won't lie i'm going to be tough on a FF movie without Alba.

Vanessa Kirby is hot, but Alba then in particular, is the tier up. Even if that movie was so so.

For what my opinion's worth, the new F4 was the best of the F4 movies and is a pretty good solid MCU movie post-Endgame. I compare it to Guardians of the Galaxy 3, which was an enjoyable movie and I've enjoyed a rewatch. It's not amazing, it's not a top tier MCU but it gave me relief that the MCU can make a good movie again and they're trending in the right direction (hopefully).

I like the retro/futuristic look, it was shot well. It had a lot of heart and emotion which the actors portrayed well. I don't want to spoil things, but there are some pleasant improvements to the development of the characters, except with Ben he isn't really involved as much this time. I don't know if that's because he was kind of featured more in the prior movies or that's how the comics were, but it felt to me like he was a supporting member and not the focus.

There was also concern before the movie about making Sue the "leader" and that this was too "woke" and feminist or something, especially with female Silver Surfer (which is from the comics, there were different Silver Surfers). None of that is the case, I don't see it as "woke" or whatever. They marketed it as being about family and that really comes across.

If you're looking for eye candy, this movie won't have that. When you re-watch the first 2 F4 movies with Alba, she's a terrible actress and really the whole vibe of those movies is pretty corny and cringe.

Vanessa Kirby is attractive in her own right (and her eyes are incredible). But her acting is the best performance in this movie by far. She steals every scene and was impressive. She provides the heart and soul of the movie. I have liked her in the Mission Impossible movies and other things, I think she's a good actress.

Similarly, they don't make Johnny Storm a womanizing idiot in this either. They take the characters more seriously.

One thing Guardians had going for it was a well fleshed out baddie -it still grates a little that they wasted him on a 1 and done film. Potential was there for something more; certainly better than Kang for sure.

The talk out there is the previews of the FF film had negative feedback about the girl power ending, which is why it was changed -audiences didn't really like it; in the same way some bits of Superman were changed based on the previews.

Hence the last minute reshoots while shooting Endgame and why the final third of the film is reportedly a bit of a mess when compared to the first parts. But overall, still a very solid film

The Eternals, that’s where the wheels really came off.

Well… technically he ain’t dead so….

I saw something posted online about this dropping 7 years ago, and basically asking "how many trailers have there been better than this one?" and its a solid argument

Ah yes, the Hulk running the woods with them that never happened. classic MCU fake out trailer.

Yeah. But the MCU seems full in on the reset - so wasting him there is bad if was what just a generic baddie to beat. As is DD and not using Muse more.

They don't have a baddie problem in Marvel, they have a knowing how to use them.

They also messed with the stones in the gauntlet. I was using that to piece together a timeline and ended up being WAY wrong lol

They started with him already having the power stone and destroying Xander off screen, and destroying Thor and Loki's ship. It was a cool open, but they could have shown those things by doing a trilogy. Take time showing him gather the stones. Or, use a prior movie to show him doing that like in GOTG2 he could have done that to Xandar and got the power stone.

I thought they didn't show enough of the worldwide impact to society from the snap, they just focused on the heroes themselves.

I’m talking about the trailer. They had stones he got at the end already as some of the first stones.
