A 90 second trailer for the Doomsday film is being shown before the Avatar film. Its hit the Korean regulator for review, so deffo happening.

This genuinely surprises me. FF wasn't a 10/10 movie, but its not the worst of the new films by far. How did more people watch Brave New World?

Kind of concerning for Marvel that people who already paid for D+ can't be bothered to watch it at this time of year. Damn

There is talk on the socials about there about the numerous trailers coming for Doomsday in the next few weeks and the "leaks" that will emanate from them. So if you go on social media, don't be surprised to see a certain character, not really mentioned to date, and isn't Dr Doom, trending

I've seen 3 iterations of it so far. I guess one might be the whole thing. LOL

Trailers 2 or 3 follow a similar character theme, but the last seems to be the full on trailer.

They were on X a lot. Someone even upscaled the trailer in AI. I've not checked in a few days, but it was everywhere. Even the Indian slop accounts were posting it to get likes.

I've seen some clips that are supposedly from the trailer leaks, but then a lot of them are just AI as well.

The trailer is playing before the new Avatar movie this weekend.

I'm curious what they do with Kang. Do they bring Majors back just to kill him off? I've seen some say a possibility is to just show Doom with Kang variant bodies on the floor

I don't care whether they bring Majors back or recast Kang just to kill him off. Marvel failed with that character IMO

They officially released the trailer online.

Steve Rogers will return. Fans are noting it says Steve not Captain America. Some are suggesting it means a variant, he's a version that is Hydra, etc. but it could just simply be that Sam Wilson is Captain America.

It will be interesting if it is the Steve from the main universe in Endgame, he wanted to go back and live his life with Peggy and once he has a son is pulled into an Avengers level threat and can't enjoy that life after all.

I am guessing Dr. Doom will show a vision/footage of Stark saying "When you mess with time, it tends to mess back." Or someone will quote that.

They really built up Kang and then dropped that quickly. I saw some fans suggest an idea that Doom will have killed all the Kang variants and that's how they'll get around that.

I'm honestly not really all that interested in this right now. There hasn't been proper build up. They got rid of some of the OG avengers and made movies with the newer people, now they're not building the Avengers movies around them but going back to RDJ and Chris Evans again. I know in the comics people come back all the time and there's the multiverse and all. But it either speaks to their inability to have enough popular characters in the remaining roster, or they're just relying on nostalgia to cash in. I expected Stark and Rogers in Secret Wars but in smaller roles.

I think its a bit of both. They saw the buzz for Deadpool and Wolverine and realised the likes of Eternals and the multiverse stuff really didn't set up anything that lasted. It needed a hard reset to move on from the mess, but well planned to get the X-Men in and it not be rushed.

I don't trust Kevin Feige or Disney enough to think, yep this is gonna be a winner.
