Pizza = tomato cookie. HEAR ME OUT.

1. Both require dough.
2. According to scientists, the tomato is a fruit.  Although nutritionists also consider the tomato to be a vegetable based on usage, the science stands stronger in favor of fruit.   And the sauce can also be sweet.  Fits with cookies.
3. Both are baked in ovens.
4. Both can be made crispy or soft, depending on preference.

Now, we've already accepted (subconsciously or otherwise) a connection to dessert since we call pizza "pie".

HOWEVER....

5a.  Pie does not use dough, it uses pie crust.
5b.  Pies are filled up with a filling of some sort.  Even something like shepherd's pie is filled.  Pizza is not filled with a filling - sauce is spread around the top of the dough.

Therefore, I conclude that pizza is a tomato cookie.

Cookies can be topped with anything.  I mean, someone thought to make an oatmeal cookie and then looked at raisins like they'd be a good idea.

Structurally speaking though, I do believe the pizza qualifies as a cookie.

While raisins are most certainly DISGUST, I don't know of any meat topped cookie.  You MIGHT be able to argue cheese as in cream cheese, but I'm calling violation on claiming meat.

Someone in here is making complete sense.

Can you guess who?

I think it's really brazen that just because it's 2020 you think you can create all new NEW NORMALS.  I'm not going to sit quietly and allow this to happen.. allow you to bastardize pizza and make it a freaking cookie :nonono:

i'm imagining paco will have to dress up as a domino's delivery boy who makes the mistake of asking the housewife if she wants their new pizza cookie and gets locked in the red sauce room where mommi uses a pizza board on his ass.

DISGUSTING.  That is closer to lasagna.

Meanwhile, this is a cookie...

I would argue in the negative to both.

Smoothies are cold and consumed via a straw.

Mashed potatoes as a dip, on the other hand....hmm

Technically in culinary terms pizza is considered an open face sandwich. Ponder on that one
