Hurts benched?

He’s hurt so the Eagles are being a little coy forcing the Jets to have to prepare for two quarterbacks. He’s marked as questionable for the game.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

The thing is Reagor does get open he is just horrible at everything else from the time he is targeted till the ball hits the ground. He puts himself out of position once the ball is up almost every time. Its insanity

He’s just not a very good receiver. I don’t know if he ever will be, but I think they should bench him at least. Maybe it will wake him up.

Hurts numbers across a 17 game season looking at his performances in the new run heavy offense from Detroit forward would be:

57.8%, 2,445 yards 10 TD's, 14 INT's

1,136 rushing yards, 10 rushing TD's, 3 fumbles

Yeah.  Keep believing that.

Guess again.

My bad, I thought you were asking if he was officially out. Otherwise yeah, he's "hurt".

Or he blows and they're thinking about sitting him.

With this team? I really don't think so. This team isn't good enough on both sides of the ball.

This team is definitely better with quality QB play, let alone elite play like Rodgers, Mahomes, and Brady would provide.  But, we will never know....

Better? No doubt about it.

I think it is hard to argue that any option is better than sticking with Hurts.

I don't know about that, I'm a big Matt Corral fan and I'm sure he'd bring his dynamic play to Philadelphia without missing a beat, kinda like Mac Jones did.....it's all about accuracy and Corral has it..

Honestly I’d just like to get a look at Minchew.

You love him so much you didn’t even spell his name right. 😂🤣🤣

In looking at the team's options, I think it boils down to this.

1. Draft a rookie.

2. Acquire a vet.

3. Stick with Hurts.

Is 3 the best option? Here's the argument. Right now the team is 18th in offensive yards per game at 351. They need about 40 more yards of offense a game to get in the top 5. They are also 11th in total defense ay 340, and need to reduce that total by about 40 to get in the top 5.

Smith is their leading receiver at around 60 yards a game. Reagor is at 16. On paper, replacing Reagor with another Smith gets you the 40 yards you need. Obviously it's not a perfect equation, but drafting a solid receiving prospect seems like the easiest way to get that extra 40 yards you need without hurting the run game or expending other resources.

It also allows four other top 100 picks to address the defense.

I think it is hard to argue that any option is better than sticking with Hurts. If he can simply throw for 40 more yards a game, our offense goes into the top 5. He has already shown he can be productive with Smith, so why not give him another similar target? Plus, you fix the defense, so even if adding the wideout fails, you have at least addressed one of the problems.

The problem with drafting a rookie is that the success rate is low, and you still have him throwing to Reagor. Plus, the run game gets worse. It is really easy to see a scenario where we draft a qb and get way worse on offense.

The same with adding a vet, except the cost is higher, so not only does the offense risk getting worse, we also still have an average defense that is trending down instead of up because we spent the draft capital on a qb.

The argument, in my mind, is pretty much over. The numbers don't lie. We need 40 more yards on offense and 40 less yards on defense to be an elite team. And we have a clear path to getting there. Draft a wr early and spend the rest of the picks on defense.

Nah give up all draft capital for an old quarterback. Make the fans happy. Keep losing games. Blame the losses on lack of talent, but the happy fans are too dumb to see giving up draft capital to improve the talent would have been better to the team than getting an old quarterback.

Almost everyone knows he sucks except the "Hurts Humpers"

They should sit him. He's a scrub

Imma start playing "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden before every game Hurts and Reagor play- as the theme song. 🤟🏻

If Geno Smith can carve out a 10 yr career, Hurts will be around for a long while.  He's a great locker room guy which helps that cause.

Geno Smith can pass.

I’ve never pumped up Minshew so not sure how I "love him” just because I said I want to get a look at him. Hurts just isn’t the answer. Might as well see if Minshew can be. Chances are he isn’t,  but at least see what the offense can do with a QB who is a better passer.

Even if he’s not the future, maybe a QB who can throw the ball helps us learn more about guys like Smith and Watkins.

I'm not sure if you qualify as a beanbagger or not, but your thought process seems to show that you don't understand that you can't reference other QBs in this topic.  #beanieweenie doesn't like that.

Mishew isn’t the answer as such he’s a waste of time. There’s no point in "seeing him,” because we already know what he is. The bottom line is the answer is either Hurts or it’s someone not already on the roster. Hopefully they can find that guy over the next few drafts. If Minshew were the "answer” then the Jags don’t dump the guy for 6th round pick nor do they draft Lawrence.

Did I say he was out?  Do you even know the difference?

I don't think he is hurt....if he threw 3 TD instead of 3 INT against the Giants....I guarantee the ankle "injury" would have been nothing at this point.  I wouldn't be stunned if they us this as a reason to bench him to see what the other crappy QB has.  They did it when Wentz was struggling in 2018 when he had a real injury.

So you’re clueless got it.

It’s hilarious. Half of you say Roseman couldn’t find talent to save his life, but ASSume he’s the ONLY GM in football smart enough to see Gardner Mishew can be the guy. 😂🤣😂

Oh and the team that simply benched Carson Wentz has to come up with an elaborate scheme of a fake injury to bench Jalen Hurts? 🤣😂🤣 Taters gonna Tate.

No one thinks Minshew is the guy either, moron.  They just know that Hurts is not a good pro QB.  Guy does not have the arm.  He’s Tebow 2.0.

He seems to have an issue with guys like Wentz and Minshew. Ulterior motive? Or are we the only ones that can be questioned?

Imagine being petrified of Gardner Minshew playing lol

Then you’re still wasting time you idiot. Minshew is basically Trevor Siemian yet you fools are acting like he’s some savior. Aren’t you the same dope who knows Hurts is benched, but really knows nothing at all? 😂🤣😂🥲
