Jalen Hurts - shoulder sprain injury; expected for playoffs

Yeah, I have never heard of an ankle (that isn't a high sprain or broken) getting worse as time goes on.  Especially considering the player said he was good to go.

Quite clear this was a one week benching

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

And you know who said it first!  Yours truly...nostrafamous

And yet another mention of Hurts thought he was playing and isn't 🤔

Discussion over.

Or Minshew lights it up for 300+, 3TD, 0 INT in a blowout win… then you legitimately have to consider who to start after the BYE.

Looks like you might be onto something . . .

Minshew wasn't lights out but they had more balance in the passing game. I think the best thing for this team would be getting a QB with better arm talent than what is available.

The offense they ran today is more sustainable long term in the NFL. What we saw in the few weeks before the NYG game was good but it isn't how you are going to have sustained success in the NFL.

This. Hurts can make plays with his legs but Minshew is the better passer. Makes quick decisions and is accurate.

This gonna be a fun week.

I love Hurts as a leader and if he's the guy they go with in 2 weeks then ok get behind him. But this offense, in my opinion, can be a better and more balanced offense with Minshew at QB. And I say that as someone who is not a huge Minshew guy.

Oh we get two weeks lol.

That would likely explain the dreadful performance in The Meadowlands against the Giants as they go back there and kill the hapless Jets.

Eagles could easily run the table and finish 10-7 especially with a bye week before they play the Football Team (and if WFT wins today, does that game get flexed to Sunday night given both would be no worse than 6-7 and if so tied for the last wild card?

Or maybe Minshew is just better.

Just trying to be logical.  Would not surprise me given he was out this week due to injury.

Minshew is a capable backup for sure (and probably deserves top backup money) but is NOT a full-time starter,

Sirianni in the post game presser assured the media when healthy Jalen is the starter. Minshew munchers calm yourselves.

He is an option QB that can't throw from the pocket.

The End.

Agreed.  Keep Minshew as a backup, draft your future QB1, and trade Hurts for whatever we can get.

No he got hurt late in the game. He just played like trash last week. No excuses.

Lol so if Minshew starts then we know the word came from Lurie/Howie

Next game is pretty much a must win for Hurts. Wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

He’s been at his best when the pressure is on.
