And Minshew is better than and has had a better career than Hurts. Bye.

They're both better in areas the other isn't.  Neither has had a long enough "career" to really compare the two imo.

Bradford was better. And that’s saying something, because Bradford was mediocre even when healthy. Still, I always said Vick was overrated. He had one great year in his career and that was it.

LOL, ok.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

Not sure how it’s interesting that someone used a name that was around for decades until the last couple of seasons. The Redskins name is something most of us grew up with and became accustomed to since we were kids. Just because the politically "woke” crowd got their way doesn’t mean everyone’s going to forget about decades of history and not slip up on occasion and call them what they have always been known as.

Because of how he was acting in the blog

Because he is in the blog saying people who support Minshew Mania over Hurts are doing it due to some type of racism.  Then he comes in here and drops the racist R word like it should be accepted.

It's a shame that politics and tribalism affects something as simple as watching an Eagles game and seeing that Howie blew a second round pick on a QB who just isn't a very good QB. Likewise I watched countless games where Wentz played as bad as I've ever seen a QB look (dude couldn't even complete a pass to Miles Sanders less than 5 yards away) and right wing gun nuts would make excuse after excuse after excuse for him.

Maybe Hurts can stick around the league as a backup and he might get better, but I don't feel like watching his failure to make reads and execute basic NFL throws week after week. Especially when there's a better option.

I know the peanut gallery is really happy today, but the quarterback of the Eagles is Jalen Hurts, and frankly he’s beaten teams much better than the Jets. It’s funny cause for weeks most of you pretty much disappeared when the Eagles were winning and Hurts was playing well have completely resurfaced when he had a very poor game. Ironically though I know most of you would be making excuse after excuse if Minshew were to become the starter and stink up the joint. I know, because I’ve read most of you do that for Wentz for years. 🤷‍♂️

I think Hurts would be great with the Ravens

It's like people forgot how good the offense had been with Hurts at QB. If they hadn't of been going out and scoring with Hurts at the helm, then I'd agree with the switch to Minshew.  So I'm not going to let one horrible game vs Giants, and one good game vs the Jets cause a silly decision.

Plus, I still want to see if Hurts can develop more as a passer before shelving him for good. Wentz had a lot of opportunities to prove his worth, and Hurts deserves a full season imo.  Also, if Minshew were to start against WFT and really stink it up, what then?

Well he has. Those numbers don't even include his rushing TDs. Also, those 2 losses could've easily been wins had our defense not sucked, or if Reagor could actually catch

the giants game was garbage but he had low yardage totals in the games before that because they barely threw the ball in those 4 games...averaged less than 20 attempts per game. that's crazy low in today's nfl.  averaged 65 rushing yards per game in that same 4 game stretch though.

idk what hurts will develop into...but he does have the elite athleticism to succeed if he becomes just an average passer. stache's ceiling is limited, imo. there's a great chance neither guy is the answer but it makes sense to see if hurts can improve.

Yeah, the defense sucked giving up 13 points.

Against LA. lol smh. The defense sucked yesterday too, but thankfully the Jets defense was worse. They played well against the Giants, which honestly isn't saying much.

He would, he can join Jackson getting his ass handed to him when he is forced to pass to win like the Steelers did to him at the end of the game.

Even in that season Vick was only great for 10 games then the Tuesday viking game they blitzed his ass with corners the whole game and that was it he went back to old Vick.

I want to see how Hurts responds. I wish he could pass, because that would settle the matter. Damn shame, too. Hopefully he works hard, puts in extra time on the things he needs to do.

It certainly would put an end to it, but that "work" is the same thing that he should have been diligently working on for a long time....or has he been and it isn't sticking?  Either way, it isn't good.

Eagles lost to the Chargers 27-24.  Chargers score 26.1 PPG, so the defense gave up .9 point more than the average.  Chargers give up 26.25 PPG, the offense scored 2.25 less than the average..  So the defense was closer to the average than the offense.  Mac Jones and Kirk Cousins both put up 27.

If he does not beat Washington, he is going to have a real problem, as the fan base is feeling Minshew Mania, and the team is in the playoffs with a win, depending on the bye week results.

Excited to see how Hurts plays out the rest of the season and in the wild card round.

If he doesn't play well then they can always have a QB competition between Minshew at camp if they (hopefully) don't blow assets on trying to trade for Wilson, Rodgers or Watson.

Like I said before this next game is probably the biggest pressure game so far for him. We will see.

Even if he "passes” the haters will still feel the same way. The truth is Hurts will always have an ability to use his legs. I remember how furious people got when McNabb stopped running. Hurts doesn’t think like McNabb and will completely stop doing what is a part of his arsenal. Hurts will never be Sam Bradford 78% completion percentage guy. Even if he was it doesn’t mean the team will win more game or the doubters will stop yapping.

That’s not even remotely what I said.

Please stop making up BS so you can be outraged over some idiot agenda of yours.

Honestly there’s really no point in going back and forth for two weeks over this. The coach said Hurts is his quarterback when he’s healthy. People can cry like babies over it or they can support their team. I know in the eyes of some wining one game versus the hapless Jets equals the 5 other wins Hurts was involved in but that alone should tell you how much of a waste of time it is to actually argue with these people.

He'll respond like he always does....by sucking

Take those assets and draft Pickett with one of them
