When did I say you were obsessed with Wentz?  I wouldn’t imagine you’d ever VOTE for him.

Actually I thought Wentz had the potential to be one of the best players in football. Nevertheless he’s gone and Hurts is here. Suck it up and deal.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

But you were gushing over Minshew for beating the hapless Jets. 😂

Jets and Skins are not very different statistically on defense.

Jets, 30.6 PPG and 391 yards YPG against.

Football team, 25 PPG and 364 YPG against.

Both defenses give up 5.9 yards per play.

The only reason the Jets number are slightly worse is their offense is 29th in TOP, Washington is 7th in TOP.

I don't care who we play or played. When evaluating Hurts (as a passer)it's about what he's seeing and how his throws are. He didn't miss a lot last night. I thought the ball placement was very good and in those wet conditions, that was slightly more difficult. It was a good outing from him and hopefully he can continue to play just as well.

He missed a wide open Gainwell for a td. Instead he forced it to a double covered Smith and the ball was high. He also missed Smith on a wide open td in the 3rd qt. That ball was thrown outside of Ward's reach. Not sure what his fascination is with Ward when they're inside the opponents 5 yard line. Seems like he ignores everyone and focuses in on Ward only. He had a good game passing but didn't go through his progressions again

Breaking the Qb rushing TD record for a franchise that's had Cunningham, McNabb & Vick is no small potatoes.  That's production you have to count.

Hurts was good against Atlanta and Washington last night.  He wasn’t dancing around the pocket for and didn’t take off running when he didn’t have to.  One thing that separates the top 6-8 QB’s from the bottom 15 is the ability to complete 7-8 tough passes per game with accuracy and touch, it’s not always about a tight window, moving the sticks is what matters and Hurts did that last night.
Maybe it was the coaches missing from the WFT in terms of them not drilling Hurts on handoffs like the Giants did but that’s on them for not taking advantage, the WFT like the Jets are a soft hitting group that tackle to not get penalized.   Giants and Dallas don’t play pillow soft defense, so it depends what the Giants are playing for this Sunday to see if Hurts can handle physical play, w\o making stupid turnovers.

You idiots were out there voting for Minshew to start this game like he just beat the greatest team ever in football. 😂🤣😂

Your vivid imagination never ceases to amaze.  Very impressive.

And he is still not in the top 10 of NFL QB's in total TD's.  With that franchise record, his total TD's is only 5 more total TD's than Jonathan Taylor.

Eagles are 15th in the NFL in offensive PPG.

Sounds about right.  hurts has been an average starting NFL qb this year.

I just want to know where to vote, I didn't get my chance.

Hurts played well last night. As a Hurts HATER. I mainly want the best option under center. Last night Hurts was the better option and even with the int and fumble I still thought he was playing well enough to bring them back last night. We had a couple bad bounces with the two turnovers. Even when he fumbled, he was doing a good job of protecting the football and it was just a better play by the defense. The play of the game goes to Sirianni. Unlike the Giants game, he took the field goal to make the score 10 to 3, which put points on the board and took the urgency off which could have led to more forced mistakes. Once we got on the board, everyone calmed down and the team started rolling.

I'm still leery of a regression but I think Sirianni is more aware of that possibility and has a better plan on how to handle it going forward. I was critical of Sirianni earlier in the year as well but he's developing pretty good game awareness and seems to learn from his mistakes.

The INT was a freak play to be fair. Hurts puts it on Goedert and Goedert is making the first down. Goedert just turned his head up field because he thought he had a chance at a TD.

The screen play he dropped was basically the same way. He catches that pass he’s probably getting big yards, because he had multiple blockers.

Agreed. He probably could have had over 200 yards if he makes both of those catches.

Hurts goes well over 300 yards. The haters cry themselves to sleep. 😂🤣😂

Good post.  With how raw he is in his position (speaking about Sirianni ... but the same can really be applied to Hurts, for different reasons), it was expected he would have quite a bit of "learning on the job" to do.  He has shown he can adapt by moving away from the offense he was trying to implement earlier in the season to a heavy run focused offense and his decision-making appears to be improving as well ... all good signs.

That throw to Ward for a TD was sick!

You guys crying over a quarterback who doesn’t want to play for your team never ceases to amaze me. 😂🤣😂

You are very rational. My same sentiments

Why would you even include that interception in your analysis? Oh right, you're  a Hurts hater.

The NFL need to seriously consider doing something about that INT stat, kinda like MLB does with the wild pitch/pass ball thing, a wild pitch is a negative stat against the pitcher whereas a pass ball is a negative stat against the catcher, no way in hell should a negative INT stat be levied against Hurts on that F Up by Goedert.

Ugh, sucks when I have to agree with that flat earth believing doofus, but he is right. Just like Foles’ INT in LII shouldn’t have counted against him.

Congrats Jalen on making the NFC Pro Bowl Alternate List.

Well, he is the best backup QB in the league, so it is fitting.

Could you imagine the ridiculousness of people analyzing every throw to see who's fault the interception is?!?

Oh wait we already do that as fans, carry on
