Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

So when I said Hurts looked hurt or concussed in the Giants game.... I really think there was something wrong with him. Maybe he didn't tell the coaches. The reason I say that is because his arm looked so weak in that game, but in Tuesdays game, his arm look like it had zip on the ball. This guy is driving me crazy as far as does he have the arm or not. Sometimes, it look like he does. Other times, the opposite. How the hell he can be that inconsistent is driving me up that wall. I'll say it again- I WANT him to stand up and take ahold of the QB spot. But this roller coaster ride is making me nauseous.  😆

He can make the 60 yard Throws, I think why ppl question his arm strength is because there is no zip/velocity on his throws. When he throws, the ball usually moves quite slowly in the air, just floating which indicates his arm is not strong. Hurts can be a very competent QB in the right system, but if you put him in a system that is suited to Deshaun Watson, Aaron Rodgers or Matt Stafford etc you are going to have a problem...

If we can give the pissing contest between the Anti/Pro Hurts crowd a rest, this is actually a good breakdown of Hurts' performance from an unbiased party.

It’s going to come down to how patient will the Eagles be with him. The more comfortable he gets in the pro game, and the more the game slows down for him the better he will become I believe, because he’s clearly a guy who works and wants to get better. So far all I hear about Hurts is an exhausting amount of "he can’t do this or he can’t do that,” but many of those comments he’s proven wrong. Seriously this kid could lead them to the playoffs, upset a team or two, and these people would still be crying for a new quarterback, because they just don’t like him.

I agree.  It’s a microwave world and if a kid isn’t ready in seconds fans want to move on.  Quarterbacks take time to develop.  Peyton Manning was 3-13 his first year.  Aaron Rodgers played in 7 games his first three seasons.  Combined.  We’re seeing Hurts mature and develop game after game and the rest of the league is starting to recognize that too.

Did not see pro bowl alternate coming but am glad for Hurts. We can debate whether he has the deep arm and ability to read defenses to be an nfl star, but he has great character and I’m happy for him.

What does Ryan Reynolds know about QBs?

If they can even hit on two studs for the defense with those three first round picks and draft a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round to add to the mix they can absolutely win with Hurts at QB. The key is building the right team around him because he's never going to be a guy who can sling the ball all over the field 40 plus times a game and win shootouts. They need to massively improve the defense, upgrade Miles Sanders, and sign the right WR to play opposite Smith. With the resources and cap they will have this offseason it's not some pipe dream either.

Jalen wore a throwback classic Randall jersey before the game today.   Let's Go.

Agreed. Everything on your list is absolutely doable, but I do worry about Howie landing some stud DEs.

Pro Bowl player that misses wide open guys in end zone at the 6 yd line, and doesn’t have enough arm strength to hit Smith in stride so they have to kick a FG.  Awesome!!!!!

Hurts throws Lane his first TD - simply incredible.  Is there anything he can’t do?

Stay salty bro

Rough start, real rough, but came along as the game went on.

Need him to play 4 good quarters next week.

Not terrible considering the short week and the quarantined Head Coach, but still.

Drops didn't help either, Goedert needs work with the juggs machine.

Really rough start but the play calling and the drops didn't help. Don't get me wrong he was still bad in the first half but there were a few drops too.

Good result. But let's not kid ourselves. He didn't have a great game.

Yes, not seeing a 6’5” 260lb TE and no defender within 8 yards is salt, not to mention the QB was closer to him than 7 defenders who were at Delilah’s, but that’s salt?
Go ahead and hug his sack, while the rest of us hope the idiot GM finds an actual QB who doesn’t consistently limit the offense, with poor decisions, and a weak arm.  He has won two games all season with his arm, Atlanta and the WFT, that’s it!   If you believe Howie and Jeff don’t know this as fact, you’re a fool as well.

Agreed. He did have some nice throws in the second half, but this was not great.

Still if we win easy when he is not at his best I count that as a good sign moving forward.

Jalen came out flat but it was a short week.   He didn't let it get him down and ended up with a very strong performance.   Even got that special TD to both Devonta and Lane.   It's December football.   So back to back Division wins is good.

The drops are drive killers. It also has all the mouth breathers constantly pointing at the qb.
