Jalen Hurts - shoulder sprain injury; expected for playoffs

Minshew threw the ball 25 times and you creamed your pants. Wentz beat a bunch of bad teams in 2019 to make the playoffs and you creamed your pants. The Eagles threw the ball 26 times against WTF, and 29 against the Giants, but they’re "taking the ball out his hands?” Seems like your take is filled with biased rubbish.

Eagles are 32nd, last, in passing play percentage this year.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

Over the past three games the Colts are worse than the Eagles.  I’ll add the Jets, and Jags are in the top five. In short your stat is meaningless and has zero to do with winning football games. But we already know you don’t care about winning.

Cousins is 58-59-2 as a quarterback. Again you people love fluff over substance. If WTF thought he was so great they wouldn’t have let him walk out the door. Got news for you. The Vikings probably let him go too.

So Kirk Cousins being 58-59-2 is THE reason Jalen Hurts doesn’t suck?  Because that’s all you keep going back to.

I wish our starting qb could be great because he throws dimes, because he dissects defenses.  No, our starting qb is great because Kirk Cousins is 58-59-2.

I think they put that in his college scouting report for positives.  Kirk Cousins is 58-59-2.

The reason Jalen Hurts "sucks” is because he’s a young and developing quarterback you blind fools don’t wish to believe is developing despite him constantly proving you all wrong saying he can’t do something then he goes out and does it. Hurts needs to be more consistent which would help if he were throwing to receivers like Cousins has. If you think Cousins comes to Philly and wins games  you would be wrong.

Hurts would be more consistent if he could pass.  His game is running around like it’s recess.  Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn’t.  That’s why he can’t string together good games.

The other issue is that talented quarterbacks get the opportunity to suck for a couple years. 6’5” guys with howitzers.  Jalen Hurts is not talented.  He doesn’t deserve the opportunity to suck for 3 years.

Well his game has the Eagles in the playoff slot Kurt Cousin just lost. I’ll take it.

I know.  Kirk Cousins is 58-59-2 and therefore Jalen Hurts is great.  I’ll keep repeating it until it somehow makes sense to me.

Why do you keep bringing up Wentz.

Fact, Eagles protect the QB by having the lowest pass percentage in the NFL

I bring up your god, because you foolishly believe he’s above the stuff you spool about Hurts. Truth is the Colts are doing exactly what the Eagles are doing and their last three games prove it, but I know you don’t have the stones to dare speak the truth about your god.

Winning is great. Isn’t winning what matters? Also year one/two/three Cousins wasn’t that good. In fact most NFL quarterbacks struggle early in their careers. Why is that truth so difficult for you to understand?

Obviously not. Win-loss only matters when we are losing. If we are winning it’s completion percentage. If he is doing well there it’s the number of deep balls.

Get with the program!

It seems like every time he checks their fake box of what a quarterback should be they get angrier about it. It’s almost comical now.😂

If you find that funny, wait when Hurts is announced to be our starter next year. 👀

I don't see that happening, and it's not because I think Hurts is some awful player, he's not, he's better than I ever thought he could be, and will get better as he gets more playing time.

I think the Eagles accumulated these picks for one purpose, go big game QB hunting, and I think they will do whatever it takes to land one of the three.

Hurts and Minshew playing well will only make it easier for a trade of that kind happening, as they can be flipped for more picks or packaged in the deal.

Even if the Eagles want that the truth is none of those guys want the Eagles. Watson has already turned them down, and Wilson prefers NY over Philly. You really think Rodgers is coming here? Highly doubt it. Furthermore both the Jets and Giants have better packages they could give teams than the Eagles could with three late round firsts.

Watson wanted the Dolphins, but I think after this year they might be inclined to stick with Tua, giving us a potential opening.

Adam Schefter believes that Wilson would agree to come to Philly, I defer to him. NYG are sticking with Jones anyways, and the Jets are not giving up on Wilson after 1 year.

With Rodgers, doesn't hurt to try.

I think looking at how dominant our O-line is and the young weapons we have would be very enticing for a veteran QB.

I don’t think so. Not because they under no circumstance would, but because I don’t think the QBs they would want would play here.

As a big fan of Hurts I think we are lucky that circumstances will be saving us.

Still think the legal issues linger well into next season. I don’t want him, but he is the most realistic QB to replace Hurts. Unfortunatly.

After this year and given his age a pretty sucky option. I doubt they would chose him over Hurts.

Pipe dream.

That depends on if we can make a playoff push imo. Then again that same success would make keeping Hurts more likely too..

Where else would all three go?

DEN is a great roster, so that's 1 better.

Fins might be out of the sweepstakes due to Tua's resurgence.

Both NY teams are out.

CAR is a clown show.

NO doesn't have the picks or the cap space.

PIT doesn't have the picks and their O-line is terrible.

Eagles used a last placed schedule to win the Suoer Bowl, and went to the playoffs in 18-19 by basically beating up on the crap NFC East teams at the end of the schedule those years. I ask why didn’t it bother you then, but it bothers you now?

False equivalene

1. Both those teams actually beat good teams along the way. From the top of my head, Rams in the Super Bowl year who were great and Bills/Packers in 2018/2019. As someone mentioned earlier 7 of 8 wins are against teams picking in the top 10 next year. One is against #14. And even against those **** teams, we have caught multiple breaks by playing backup QBs or guys fresh off the street (Gilbert, Fromm, Semien)

2. The 17 game schedule works in our favour even more, given us an extra win (Jets)

Btw, the 2018/19 team were never good either. At least not by the end of the year as had been decimated by injuries. Was even a miracle we managed to beat those crappy NFC East teams, especially Cowboys who were far more talented as we had practice squad guys out there as starting WRs. Rod Davis was a a starter for christs sake.

You keep saying that it’s the same team that has gone from 4 wins to playoffs but (outside of QB play which certainly was an issue last year), the two big weaknesses from the last two years have been significantly improved this year; OL depth which has gone from a weakness to major strength and Devonte alone providing a major upgrade to WRs albeit still work to do here.

Eagles are good with Watson's legal situation, they were willing to trade from him this year.

Wilson has been the one that got away for Howie, nothing that happened this year will deter him from acquiring Wilson.

Maybe its, but doesn't hurt to try.

Maybe you would like to keep Hurts, but I doubt the Eagles would if they could get one of the three.

Yeah sure, heard that tale before. Looking at Hurts and Wilson this season I don’t see it.

Knowing Roseman he will try. To no avail.

Agree to disagree then. We’ll see soon enough.

We do, Eagles researched and initiated trade talks, Watson said only Miami.

You don't need to see it, Howie does and he will.

Fine, but he will try.

Agreed.

We researched everybody. Roseman is the King of due diligence.

That only Miami stuff is just unconfirmed noise.

That we can agree on. It’s who he is.
