Can't argue too much about where they have placed Hurts currently is in the field of playoff QBs. Dude is young and key for him will be making another leap in the off-season / next year.

Generally a good list. On the others, I'd put Carr over Tannehill.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

Didn’t read it, cause it’s in the In section, but I’m guessing Hurts was last and he should be. He’s the youngest player in the field and has the least amount of experience. The doubters and haters won’t acknowledge this though.

Mac Jones has less starts and is a rookie.

True and he’s also developing, had a game where he only threw three passes, and his coach is Belicheat, but I’m sure in your eyes he should get more leeway than our quarterback. 🙄

Nope, just pointing out he has less starts and is a rookie.  And FYI, Hurts is 13th on the list, Big Ben is last.

That actually gives me more hope about Hurts considering he and Jones are both the same age. Big Ben being last huh. He has a ton of experience. He’s not the player he used to be, but I’m shocked he’d be last. Thanks for the info.

He’s not. Above a Big Ben.

Yeah that’s pretty surprising to me. Ben is a playoff vet. He’s been in and won big games before. What is their criteria?

That they didn't suck this year

Honestly Hurts, Ben, and Jones aren’t that much different numbers wise, but it is kind of sad for him to be that close to such younger players.

I don't know the real criteria, I just went with it lol

Well he’s a rookie and already a better passer, so yes.

Yep, and those three are the bottom three in the list. On strictly play this year though, I would have Big Ben below the two younger guys.

If you are taking a more holistic view and factoring in previous playoff experience etc, you could make the argument otherwise but I don’t think he has been better this year

You were right though. It’s based on play this year

He’s lighting it up today 😂

Get this backup out of Philly

LMAO. A backup who scores 0 in a playoff game?

Hurts needs 2-3 more seasons so we can learn more about him.

You really can't make a determination until he has played 57 games

This has been my favorite game Hurts has played

Then the list was wrong.

This was an evaluation year, and there was growth but ended the year poorly.  I don't know if he's the long-term answer or not.  Missed open receivers and had some issues reading the defense.  He has a lot of work to do in the offseason.

I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but after seeing this pitiful performance, I'm out. If they don't upgrade, it's gonna be the same results next year- beat bad teams and struggle/ get blown out against the good teams.

Pre-game show Vick interviewing Hurts. Jalen told him he modeled his game after him and loved that he would take the ball in his hands to make plays, something like that. Hurts doesn't see the field and go through reads.

Well he is doing exactly what Vick did without the cannon arm or dog fighting
