Until Howie loses his job none of it will matter. The talent on this squad is putrid. How can this team get any coach worth his salt to come in here and had to coach around Howie’s bad draftpicks, and terrible contracts? Frankly until Howie is gone this team is stuck in quicksand.

I'm with you there, I just have this feeling it won't happen. Not this year.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

If they don’t dump Howie then you can expect an unqualified replacement for Doug. Far more unqualified than when Doug got hired. They might even hire from within.

Reports that hurts is starting the rest of the way..... Yea. Wentz is gone. This is nuts.

Yeah but what’s just as nuts is how anyone wouldnt see this coming.   Wentz has been unbearably bad under any circumstances.

what’s frustrating to me is why it wasnt done in week 8-10 when we had a firm grip on the division with only 3 wins. Clearly wentz was in a bad funk and was in denial of it therefore likely to stay in the funk

Feel free to use the ignore button because I certainly will feel free to say anything I dam well please. Have a nice day. Oh and trust me I know you built in the excuse. No matter how bad he plays you get to go "he's a rookie"! Leave him alone!

Yup, say what you please. And when you're blind and biased people will feel free to call you out.

Nah Wentz won't be gone. I'd say less than 1% chance Wentz is gone.

Really? I don't see anyone else being the scapegoat. I don't see you all in the game thread tearing into the Oline. Just Carson. Hell I've seen Carson get blamed for DEFENSIVE struggles.

You are absolutely blind and only seeing what you want and creating multiple straw men you are arguing with. Fans say every aspect of the team sucks, except maybe D line.

Y'all need to be careful what you wish for. If Hurts and Reagor look too good, it'll save Howie's job, and maybe Doug's, and I know a lot of you would rather lose than see that happen.

😂

Looking like it could happen....

Wentz wasn't put in a position to succeed, but outside of better playcalling by Doug for Hurts for whatever reason, he's playing with the same OL, same WRs and is making better throws.

It's a very small sample size, but if Hurts continues to shine like he is doing tonight, it would be very hard to justify keeping Wentz to see if he rebounds in 2021.

As the above posters mentioned, it is bittersweet to see both of our rookie Jalens doing well tonight because it might just be enough to buy Howie more time in the front office 😬

At what point in the game is hurts going to start sucking and getting sacked 40 times and not having anyone open?

Running out of time for him to have the same issues wentz had like people said would happen.

Only complete game they played.

Remember, at one time Wentz was elite, and Fulgham was a "#1 WR "

Let's see long term after defenses have tape on him. Can't run around for your life forever, have to make pocket throws.

But really good 1st start against a great defense.

So, can we get our first ever win in Glendale next week?

Too late for Hurts to get OROY??

We did what we had to to win. Moving forward, we need to see Hurts get some receivers involved.

I think we need YouTube videos of incomplete passes to make the case.

Problem is he didn't have many incomplete passes to view, 70% completions at Oklahoma.

Don't forget about the "terrible decision" to sign Hargrave in free agency. That's really beginning to look like a good move afterall.

I didn't see a single person say that was a bad move. It was the best free agent signing last year.

I'm impressed the O Line didn't allow one sack the entire game. They came to play against the NFL Top Defense.

Hurts does throw the ball away instead of taking a sack. So kudos to him for that as well.

Definitely the biggest win of the season against a 10-2 team.

People were complaining quite a bit about it after the first 7-8 games.

It helps that hurts is really quick and really athletic. He gets out of the pocket so quickly which against such a good defense was key.

That was entirely based on the QB holding on to the ball for a shorter amount of time.

Doesn't even need to be that, just sliding around the pocket and taking a few steps outside to throw it away is all that is needed. Not wait till it's to late then try to take on and break tackles of 4 defensive lineman
