I guess your point is that there is a qb in this draft who could win us a Super Bowl?

Well don't keep your secret to yourself. Who is it?

I'd settle for not being down 31-0 at the end of the 3rd quarter in a wild card playoff game. Yes the goose egg has something to do with the offense - or lack thereof.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

Hats off to the GOAT Tom Brady versus the Eagles Hot Knife Through Butter Defense.

And, thanks to the Bucs for shutting down the run and forcing Hurts to throw.

Eye opening on both sides of the ball. We didn't belong on the same field as the Bucs.

It was a tremendous arse kicking. "he can't read".

And did you see Howie's face after that game. Utterly embarrassed.

So you also want Mac Jones replaced? Or is down 27-3 at halftime so much better than losing 31-0 at the end of the third?

I'll take Mac Jones over Hurts please

Here we go, they are back to comparing Hurts to rookies.

Rookies who outperformed him at QB in a much tougher conference at that lol at least they can't do the age argument with Mac

We already have him, or did you forget Gardner Minshew was on the team?

Okay, let's compare Hurts' career playoff performances to Wentz's.

You don't have to remind me we have a better thrower of the football on the team. I'm more than aware there's a QB with a 1.86/game guy on the bench with a 1.16/game starting

How about comparing their body of work.

Oh the Wentz argument that nobody on this board is making anymore lol you aren't any good at this either huh

If Hurts threw for 27 TDS, they'd kiss his feet

Wentz came into the league when he was 24, so we can do that once Hurts catches up to him.

And the age argument bahahahaha age doesn't equate to NFL experience. It's hysterical you guys keep reaching for this. At this many starts, Wentz was beginning a damn near MVP season

Hurts had 26 TDs last year (in fewer games) and was younger.

It's amazing what facts can show you when you bother to pay attention to them.

And using rushing touchdowns to try to compare hurts to real quarterbacks. Love it

Let me know when he sets the Eagles single season passing yardage record.  Or when he sets the Eagles single season passing TD record.  Or any of these.

Among quarterbacks in their first 68 career games, Wentz ranks 12th in NFL history with 16,811 passing yards and ninth with 113 touchdown passes.

Wentz, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers are the only quarterbacks in NFL history with three straight seasons of at least 20 TD passes and seven or fewer interceptions.

Wentz has had a passer rating of 85 or higher in 41 of his 68 career starts. Only Dak Prescott (48), Wilson (48) and Dan Marino (44) had more games with a rating of 85 in their first 68 career starts.

Even though he was only here for five seasons, Wentz leaves Philadelphia 4th in franchise history with 113 touchdown passes, fourth with 16,811 passing yards and fourth with 35 wins. He trails Donovan McNabb, Ron Jaworski and Randall Cunningham in all three categories. Interesting that Wentz is fourth in Eagles history in TD passes but 11th in interceptions. Wentz’s 89.2 passer rating is 2nd-highest in franchise history (minimum 1,000 attempts), behind Nick Foles’ 93.2 mark.

Appreciate dropping some wisdom. I'm at work ATM

I seem to be missing the part where you list the records he set in the playoffs. Did you run out of energy before you got to those?

Injured the superbowl season, knocked out the first quarter in the other....your point?  It's fun you can broaden as far as your arms can to measure any level of success for hurts, but pinch that measurement to the tiniest of positions to cancel any good from Wentz lol on a fair playing field, Wentz doesn't even have to acknowledge Hurts existence...and Wentz isn't even top 15 right now

Now do the postseason with the Colts.

Oh he obviously choked down the end. There is no doubt. Wouldn't want him as my QB right now. Doesn't make me want Hurts any more

You don't have to want Hurts to be the qb. You should, however, at least be trying to understand why he is the qb.

Because he was a second round pick and he is cheap on a team with not a lot of money

You can do better than that. JJAW is a second round pick and cheap and he doesn't start.
