August 28, 20223 yr So he didn't even play today and you crazies are still going nuts with the hate? Are you all ok?

August 28, 20223 yr My expectations? Again just elevate from last year. People have all these arbitrary numbers and stats of what Jalen should or shouldn't do. Sure you want his Stats to go up but to me there's not a magic number outside of winning. At the end of the day. When week 18 hits. Did they win the Division? Are they in the Playoffs? Did they get the #1 Seed and Bye? Did they win in the Playoffs? Are they in the NFC Title Game? Are they back in the Bowl 5 Years Later? It's about Levels. He help to lead us to a Wild Card just like Donovan did in 2000 during his first year as the Starter. Donovan did win his first Playoff game (Ironically against Tampa). The very next year, Donovan and the Team won the Division and two more Playoff Games along with going to the NFC Title game. So after Year 3, 3 Playoff Wins, Division Title and NFC Title Game Appearance. That's progression. That's what I mean about elevation. I'm not saying Jalen has to be Donovan. I just want to see him keep progressing and the team not take a step back. It's about doing better each year. 9 Wins was nice after coming off 4-11-1 season. So many people thought they would flop and they turned it around. Now it's time to elevate from that. But I'm very excited and Jalen really did earn this opportunity to continue to Lead in this role.

He said you have to be able to step up in the pocket and make the throws on time and accurately, that's the QBs number 1 job. So I'll take it from him and not the people on here saying Steve won as a running QB because he won't even say it. Steve lost as a running QB, and was traded to the 49ers, where they taught him how to be a pocket passer, who could escape the pocket and make plays when the designed play broke down... not a guy who broke the play because he was uncomfortable sitting in the pocket.

Also had the highest passer rating in the league 6 out 7 consecutive years, starting at age 30... through 36. And had a passer rating over 100 at the ripe old age of 37.

If I worked with professional coaches, went to meetings, and worked out for a year...I could be a better QB next year than this year. And if I staged my work right, I could probably be even better the year after that. I'd still be a pop warner level QB, but I'd keep improving. Does anyone want me to be the QB for the Eagles? 3 hours ago, Iggles_Phan said: Also had the highest passer rating in the league 6 out 7 consecutive years, starting at age 30... through 36. Or draft a guy next year who is further into his development as a passer already and see how he grows Which may be the best option if it comes down to paying him or keeping a rookie contract going

Like the guy hasn’t played QB since high school. These are not cleaning some things up for the NFL issues, these are things that should have been solved long ago.

Just because a couple players out of dozens land in a perfect situation for them and have what appears to be immediate success, does not make that the normal progression for most young players.

Rosen definitely wasn't given another year Wilson was pretty successful from the beginning

Not the same guy at all.

He's had a relationship with Brian Johnson, an NFL QB coach, for his entire life. And now they work professionally together.
