Too bad Wentz couldn't beat Jax when it mattered last year 😄

LOL, you realized you were wrong, and now you changed the argument.

No I didn't you dunce. And what does Wentz/Jax have to do with anything? The other dude brought up Wentz, not me.

The original premise is Hurts threw deeper. But compared to LITERALLY EVERY OTHER STARTING QB THIS WEEK, he threw shorter than any other.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

I still like the stats. Very interesting.

How many times did Hurts just throw the ball out of bounds?

Yeah, Wentz fault the Colts had lost 7 straight to Jacksonville

Lol, @MF POON so dumb, can't even understand simple analytics.

I was just making a joke about Wentz beating Jax a game too late.

Who cares?

I'm not even a big Hurts believer long term but the hate is just over the top.  He had one of the best passes of his career to AJ and hit a few nice passes over the middle.  He also left the pocket too early a few times and was inaccurate a few times.  We'll see what happens this week.  I just wonder why some act like he ran over their dog. Someone was criticizing his post game speech. Said he should just play on the field. That's hate

Hate is a strong word.   Racism is a stronger word.    I leave my criticisms of Hurts at what happens on the field.   Others don't.   But, I would ask that you use a more appropriate term like 'overly critical'.   No need to escalate it.

Jax sucked last year, so yes, it's their and Wentz's fault for not beating opponents they should've beaten.

Anyway, I don't care, Wentz had a good day.  Hope our defense doesn't allow him to look like his 2017 self

I shouldn't think out loud.

What does throwing the ball OOB mean to the discussion?

I hear you. But am I off base saying that there is a lot animosity shown towards Hurts that seems to go beyond on the field flaws?

It would only matter if those short throws OOB influenced the 4.1 intended yards.

So, if he were to throw it 30 yards and out of bounds, does that change the intended yards?

False.

Based on his passing chart, two passes went OOB, both at about 10 yards.

Because his off field persona was shoved down our throats. He's the James Brown of the NFL apparently. He has unlimited swag. He's paying rent every day or some nonsense.

He seems far more interested in improving his social media game than he does working on actual QB fundamentals. Which again, we were told he had been working with a QB guru to fix his mechanics. First game in this season, and he's right back to where he started against New Orleans.

Defaulting to racism is just lazy and stupid. I began cheering for the Eagles because of Cunningham. My fandom continued through Rodney Peete, McNabb, Vick, etc. It has nothing to do with his skin colour, and everything to do with him masquerading as a QB, when the reality is he is best suited as a RB. And frankly, I think he'd make a pretty good RB.

I seem to recall an "Is Hurts a gay?" thread not too long ago.. But of course you would say false

I see the OOB throws. Thank you.

And what are the blue arcs drawn on Wentz' chart? Are they good? (Sarcasm)

For the TDs, does Wentz only get the intended yards credited for the point of the reception?

In 2022, we can't have simple discussions about sexuality because so many people are repressed. Why is it so offensive to you that he might be? What's the big deal? Only his defenders have taken it as a negative.

Yes, the intended air yards per attempt is exactly that. Discounts any YAC.

Why was there even a discussion about it to begin with? It's still off the field matters, and I'm sure it wasn't brought up as a positive thing.

It's a DISCUSSION board. Why can't we talk about it? What's gonna happen?

Someone's feelings will be hurt. And then the Mods get involved.

I don't want to discuss things you nuts secretly fantasize about on this board. If y''all got a thing for Hurts, use discord.
