What starting QBs have taken less money to help the team? Excluding Brady as there were reports he was getting money through his foundation

None. And if Brady really was then it is still the exception and not the rule. We will start seeing many other QB's in SB's going forward without Brady dominating nearly 50% of them during his career.

Hurts has been looking mortal lately. Appears to be abandoning his reads after the defense doesn't give him his 1st or 2nd. And then starts looking to run, but defenses have been clogging the scramble lanes inside. Which has then led to sacks or the O-line getting confused due to Hurts' indecisiveness and getting penalized for holding. Taking valuable attempts at points off the board.

Coaching and Hurts need to get their crap figured out, because defenses are defending him now and they have the blueprint. Coaching needs to adjust. Especially with Goedert out also. That doesn't help.

All that being said, I'm still pleased with the team's performance. Need to weather the injuries and defenses catching up and stay in control of the #1 seed. Cowboys will be on our heels sooner than later.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

In all seriousness this is silly dig at Hurts. He has been good to elite all year. He has not been indecisive. Their is no blueprint on him. The D and turnovers lost the Washington game. Colts game he willed us to a win when the running game was poor.

Turnovers cost us the Washington game, but the offense was playing like crap regardless. And the offense hasn't been the same the last 3 weeks. Defenses have caught up. It was only a matter of time. It happens with any offense that is humming every season. Defenses watch the film and catch up. It is then up to that offense to adjust to the defenses that have caught up.

Not a dig. Just an honest observation.

Agreed. The key and the emphasis is now on Sirianni and Steichen to come up with new wrinkles and make changes that give this offense a new something.

A good team that ends up winning the SB probably goes through 3-4 offensive innovations a season. It is a cycle. New wrinkle in offense and then defenses watch film and catch up and then the cycle repeats.

Not buying this. The O was bad against the Colts for sure and it was a poorly called game.

But the O against Washington was good. The D couldn’t get them the ball back and there were 3 freak turnovers.

It would be good however to see a strong showing without Goedert. Want to see Pascal/the backs incorporated more in the passing offense.

I wouldn't go as far to say it was good but they also weren't on the field much so it's a hard one to gauge.

Genuinely question, interpret it any way you want:

Has Jalen Hurts had a wall-to-wall bad game yet this season?

Not just that he wasn’t good enough to win, he was the reason we lost… or why we didn’t win bigger.

Brees was getting 25m$ his last few years while there were guys making 30-40.

Also Peyton’s deal with the colts I think was 19m$ a year when guys were getting more than 20. He was coming off a scaring injuring, but there’s no doubt he could have demanded more

Roethlisberger took a big pay cut his last year or two

It is rare though

Peyton had that mega deal after the bidding war when he went to Denver

Examples of players at the end of their careers is comparable?

No, he hasn't. I was expecting at some point this season that there would be a game where he stunk and was the reason we lost game. Out of our worst games he's been very far down on the list of reasons why we had a bad game.

Comparable to… Brady?

He’s definitely had moments where he was off, but they’ve been rare. Even in the first three quarters of that Colts game, I never thought he was playing poorly. He made plenty of plays. Unfortunately they kept shooting themselves in the foot, like when they backed themselves up to 1st and 35 after they had been driving. But I thought Hurts was doing his part.

I know, you all know his story.. but I found it entertaining anyways.

Someone in YouTube comments of that video said wishes Eagles still had Wentz because he's better overall player. A lot of people responded to that comment.

I'm sure that guy got absolutely torn apart and owned. What an outrageous thing to say.

Great video! Bama fans will always love Jaylen and supported him going to OU.

I’m so happy to see him doing so good, I never doubted him. Even when many questioned my intelligence, I knew what Jaylen was made of and knew if he put his mind to it and his body would allow, he could be one of the best!

Wow! So he's got 5 more total TDs than Wentz did in his third year? And he's got 4 less INTs. That's seriously impressive.

Some of you morons wanted Minshew to start.

Its quite unbelievable at this point it really is. What more does he have to do.

Last week he led a 4th quarter comeback. This week he won a shootout.

Keep checking those boxes.

This week he did it with his legs but he also made huge throws at crucial times. That TD drive at the end of the first was absolutely crucial.
