Hurts is 15-2 in his last 17 with 22 TDs to 8 picks, 3723 yards passing, 887 yards rushing and 13 rushing TDs.

Those are MVP numbers in career starts 14 to 30.

Hurts is incredible as a 2nd year starter / 3rd year project QB.

I never understood why people combine games from 2 seasons like this. He's had a hell of a leap from year 2 to 3 but it's just so odd

The odd bit is how you get bothered by random things like this. Its a football message board.

Some people paint their faces and get drunk tailgating. Some people travel to road games. Some people buy an awful Direct TV service so they can watch all the Eagles games. Some people go the Red Zone route. Others look at statistics and talk on message boards. 

None of it is weird. (besides the "I hate Hurts beyond all evidence and reason", that is weird)

I think only a couple people on here "hate" Hurts. I do agree that is weird

The extension obsession in 2022 is also a bit weird. Its the going rate for an elite QB. He is now an elite QB. They don't have to pay him until 2024.

I guess its the Negadelphia vibe. Why enjoy a 10-1 so far season when you can gnash your teeth about the 2025 salary cap?

It's a legitimate concern when we've been burned recently by a mega contract. What's wrong with being cautious?

The Eagles ran for, what - 363 yards yesterday, or something ridiculous. And people are whining about our QB, our offensive line, and more. There really is no pleasing some people.

You would think the offense was doing nothing but 3 and outs based on the ridiculous posts complaining about Hurts during the game.

He made clutch plays and was a huge reason why we won the game. Why people are still trying to argue that he's just not that good is beyond me.

They spent so much time saying that it was nearly impossible that he would get better, that having the same offense for two years in a row means nothing, and saying that he was the worst QB in the league that now they are trying to find every angle to prove they were right. Some people just have an issue with saying that they are wrong.

Ding ding ding we have a winner. Spot on bud. Some people can't admit when they are wrong. I'll put my hands up, I had some real reservations about Hurts. In fact on a number of occasions I really thought he was not going to be the answer. But it would appear I was wrong. He's a really really good QB and there's still room for him to improve. Let's not forget he's only 24 still.
